In cutting the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical work by cutting tools rotating around the work, clamp portions of a right work holder and a left work holder are inserted into the two ends of the work. The work is held by abutting these tapered surfaces against circular ridge portions formed in the inner edges of end faces of the work and pressing the work in the axial direction.

摘要： A projection exposure apparatus wherein a pattern formed on a mask is projected onto a substrate through a projection optical system. The apparatus has an illumination optical system for illuminating the mask by exposure light, and a first adjusting member which is disposed in the illumination optical system to change telecentricity on the substrate. The apparatus further has a second adjusting member for adjusting at least one of the position of the substrate in the direction of an optical axis of the projection optical system and the tilt of the substrate, and a control system for controlling the first and second adjusting members. The control system locally corrects the position of a spatial image formed by the projection optical system.

摘要： A device for locking a front cover attached to a bank note container box to cover the opening of the box. The device securely locks the front cover in the closed condition when the box is removed from the automatic money depositing and disbursing machine, and releases the front cover automatically when the box is held in position within the machine. The device comprises, in combination, an opening and closing cam and an unlock cam mounted to the machine body, and a lock member and a first unlock lever mounted to the side plate of the box. When the box initially inserted in the machine body is moved to be pulled out, the unlock lever is raised by the unlock cam so that the lock member releases the front cover from the locked condition in which it is locked in the open position. Thereafter the front cover is slowly closed by the action of the opening and closing cam. Then the lock member is moved by the action of a biasing spring to the position for locking the front cover. In a further preferred embodiment, double lock means are provided for safe carriage of the box by hand. The double lock means comprises a further lock lever and an unlock member operatively associated with said first unlock lever.

摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus which, even when it becomes impossible to take an image of a mobile object due to existence of an obstacle to hide the mobile object, is capable of making a simulatory screen display of the mobile object, thereby notifying a driver of a risk of collision with the mobile object. Even when it is impossible to take an image of the mobile object because of existence of an obstacle, the apparatus displays a simulated picture image of the mobile object superimposed on an actual picture image, by obtaining an optical flow or by performing pattern matching. Thus, an effect is obtained that the mobile object is viewed as if transmitted through the obstacle. By notifying the driver of the risk of collision in advance by means of sound or video image perceptible by a human being, the danger of the collision is avoided.
