    • An actuator device for actuating a supply of gas generant material in an airbag inflator device. The actuator includes an initiator cup having a cup side wall, an end wall at a first end of the cup side wall, and a cup open end at a second end of the cup side wall opposite the end wall. A header body is connected to the initiator cup at the second end of the cup side wall. The header body and the initiator cup define a storage chamber. A radial discharge charge holder is disposed within the storage chamber and adjacent the header body. The charge holder includes a charge holder side wall substantially parallel to at least a portion of the cup side wall, a charge holder open end disposed toward the initiator cup end wall, and at least one discharge opening disposed in the charge holder side wall. The actuator device includes an inner canister with at least a portion of the inner canister disposed over the charge holder open end to define a charge holder chamber. A first reactive charge is disposed within the charge holder chamber, and a second reactive charge including a fluid or a gel is disposed within the storage chamber between the inner canister and the initiator cup end wall.

    • Systems, methods, and apparatus for servicing landfill conduits are disclosed. These systems, methods, and apparatus employ structures which facilitate access to and the servicing of buried landfill conduits, for example, one or more buried landfill laterals. In one aspect, the systems include an enclosure, at least one inlet conduit passing into the enclosure, at least one outlet conduit passing out of the enclosure, and at least one service conduit having a valve and an access port positioned between the inlet conduit and the outlet conduit. In another aspect, methods and portable apparatuses are provided for introducing high-pressure fluids or vacuum to a landfill conduit, for example, by means of the access port in the service conduit, to remove or dislodge obstructions. Conduits connected to blowers and pumps are used to introduce or withdraw fluids from the landfill conduits, for example, from predetermined locations within the landfill conduits identified by remote sensing devices.

    • A device-to-lead terminal connector for an implantable medical device is designed to positively lock the proximal lead terminal within a lead bore formed in the connector of the implantable device. Rather than using a conventional setscrew locking arrangement, first and second latching members are insertable through side ports in the device connector that intersect with the lead bore and that contain an elastomeric sleeve. When the latching members are squeezed together, they cooperate to expand the elastomeric sleeve against the proximal lead terminal to press it into intimate electrical and mechanical engagement with a contact in the lead bore of the device connector. The need for a tool to effect locking of the lead terminal in place is dispensed with.

    • A knockout drive system for a food patty molding machine includes an electric motor; a rotary-to-linear motion converting apparatus operatively connected to the electric motor; and at least one knockout member operatively connected between the rotary-to-linear motion converting apparatus and the knockout plungers, to reciprocate the knockout plungers. The mold plate and knockout plungers are not mechanically linked to be driven together but are independently driven.     • A breather air and food product fines pumping system for a reciprocating mold plate food product forming machine pumps air and fines to a collection area. A pumping surface is provided by a rearward facing surface of the mold plate. A pumping chamber is arranged between the pumping surface and a food product fines collection area. The rearward facing surface of the mold plate defines a movable limit of the pumping chamber. A valve element of a first valve is arranged between the pumping chamber and the collection area to create suction in the pumping chamber when the rearward facing surface of the mold plate is moving forward, and to allow the pumping chamber to pump air and fines into the collection area when the rearward facing surface of the mold plate is moving rearward. Breather holes in a breather plate are in communication with a breather passage that is in communication with the pumping chamber and with outside air through further valve arrangements. The further valve arrangements and the first valve act to flush the breather passage with outside air to drive air and fines in the breather passage into the pumping chamber where it is then pumped to the collection area.
