摘要： Apparatus for cutting a conduit or tubular element transversely to the longitudinal axis thereof which includes a base having a housing projecting vertically therefrom. The housing includes opposed, substantially parallel side plates separated by a vertical slot at their upper ends, and by a mechanism chamber at their lower ends. A blade element is pivotally supported between the parallel side plates, and carries a plurality of ratchet teeth along the lower peripheral edge and a cutting edge disposed at the opposite side of the blade element from the ratchet teeth. Between the teeth and cutting edge, the knife element has an elongated, arcuate slot formed therethrough. An operating handle is pivotally connected to the housing at a side thereof spaced from the pivotal axis of the blade element. A pawl lever is pivotally connected to the operating handle and has a dog thereon positioned to ride over and operatively engage the ratchet teeth as the operating handle is pivoted. An elongated indexing link is pivotally connected at one end to the pawl lever and carries a stud at its other end which rides in the arcuate slot in the blade element. A conduit supporting jaw is mounted at the upper side of the housing, and defines an arcuate recess dimensioned to support a conduit to be cut by the apparatus.

摘要： An electrical outlet box which includes side walls and a back wall and has an opening opposite the back wall. Screw-receiving retainer lugs are provided on the side walls to facilitate attachment of a cover plate to the box, and a plurality of conductor windows are provided in the box at the intersection of the back wall with one or more side walls. A flexible, resilient arcuate locking tongue carries locking teeth on a convex, outwardly facing side of the tongue for locking, tangential contact with an electrical conductor extended through the respective conductor window and against the locking tongue while the locking tongue is in a deflected status. Cusps having arcuate ramp surfaces are formed on the back wall to guide conductors inserted into the box through the windows into the interior of the box.

The system includes a corrugated, synthetic resin conduit which is flexible and mechanically strong, connector sleeves for clampingly engaging sections of the corrugated conduit in end-to-end relation, and hanger sleeves for clampingly engaging the conduit and suspending it from a wall or similar surface. A novel electrical outlet box is provided and includes internally toothed conduit-receiving inlet fittings for securely engaging an end of the conduits in inlets to the box.

摘要： A device for clamping conduit which includes a U-shaped body portion having a recess therein located between two legs of the body portion, and a toothed jaw portion positioned at the bottom of the recess for engaging a pipe or conduit. A clamping portion is hingedly secured to one of the legs of the body portion at the free end thereof by an integral flexible hinge, and is adapted to fold about the hinge to enclose the pipe or conduit in the recess by means of a second toothed jaw portion formed on the clamping portion. Each of the legs of the body portion carries a protuberant apertured flange with the apertures in the flanges positioned for alignment with corresponding apertures in the clamping portion when the clamping portion is pivoted to its recess closing position. The aligned apertures in the flanges and clamping portions can then be used for receiving fasteners extended through these apertures and into a supporting surface such as a wall or the like.
