The animation control device (10) includes a priority identifying unit (11) that identifies priorities of a plurality of animation parts with reference to part priority information (d2); an animation executing unit (14); a determining unit (12) that determines whether the amount of operation needed for the animation is greater than a first appropriate value; and a part control unit (13) that changes the content of control of the animation of the change target part, which is an animation part having a low priority, from a first content of control to a second content of control when it is determined that the amount of operation needed for the animation is greater than the first appropriate value, wherein the animation executing unit (14) performs the animation of the change target part according to the second content of control, and performs the animation of a non-change-target part according to the first content of control.

Further, a garnish for accommodating the light source and having a light transmitting part can be provided to the illumination device.

摘要： A pedestrian protecting device includes an airbag housed below a cowl louver made of a synthetic resin, such that it is folded in an elongated shape along the cowl louver. The airbag can be expanded to protrude upward by an inflating gas discharged from an inflator, to protect a pedestrian. The cowl louver includes a door portion covering the airbag when folded and housed, and curved to protrude to the front at the respective centers of its front and rear edges. This door portion can be opened to the front or to the rear by the expanding airbag. The door portion is formed integrally with the cowl louver and includes expansion promoting means so that it can be smoothly opened.

摘要： An illuminating device is installed at an outer side surface of a rear side door of a vehicle for illuminating a road surface section beside a front side door of the vehicle. The device is accommodated in a rear side molding secured to the outer side surface of the rear side door. The light source of the illuminating device radiates light along a linear optical path extending diagonally downward from a portion of the outer side surface of the rear side door in which the light source is installed to the road surface section beside the front side door. Further, the illuminating device includes a prism lens for refracting the light of the light source outwardly and away from the outer side surface of the vehicle body. This enables the device to effectively illuminate the road surface section beside the vehicle.

摘要： A welding method for stainless steel overlays is disclosed wherein a welded stainless steel overlay is prevented from exfoliating out of an inner surface of a high pressure vessel. Hydrogen exists at a partial pressure of less than 150 kg/cm.sup.2 and a temperature less then 450.degree. C. in the pressure vessel. At least one low alloy steel weld-overlay is preliminarily welded over the inner surface of the pressure vessel. The preliminarily low alloy steel weld-overlay is composed of similar composition to the base metal of the vessel, containing niobium and/or nickel. Thereafter, at least one customary ferritic steel or austenitic steel weld-overlay is welded thereon.
