摘要： In the art of blow molding thermoplastic articles a pair of blow mold halves is closed around a parison. A blowing medium is applied so that the parison is thus blown to a container configuration. In this blowing step very high closing forces are necessary to maintain the mold halves in closed position. The invention provides for a plurality of biased pistons which are actuated by a pressure medium to support the mold halves on a stationary frame.

摘要： Radio transmission system in which the carrier frequency oscillator at the transmitter is wobbulated by varying its frequency in a periodic manner and modulated and transmitted to a receiving site where the detected signal is passed through two separate paths, one being supplied to a converter and the other is supplied to the converter through a delay line. The output of the converter comprises an intermediate frequency which contains the modulation which is then demodulated and detected. Modification of the invention provides for transmitting two or more separate intelligences on the carrier and detecting the two intelligences at the receiver.

摘要： An apparatus to make articles, in particular bottles, from parisons in a blow mold operation. The parisons are carried on transfer mandrels throughout the operation. The parisons riding on the transfer mandrels are heated while travelling around on a first wheel and are transferred into blow mold units mounted on a second wheel. Each blow mold unit is provided with an expanding mandrel which is extended through the transfer mandrel into the parisons. Two different blowing pressures are used in the blowing step which is controlled by cam controlled valves. From the second wheel the mandrels carrying the blown articles are transferred to an output wheel where the articles are removed from the transfer mandrels which are returned to the first wheel.

A preform of a thermoplastic material is first subjected to thermal conditioning in the region of a heating section along a transporting path. Subsequently, the preform is transformed into the container inside a blow mold by the effect of blowing pressure. The thermal conditioning of the preforms is carried out by a number of radiant heaters positioned one above the other. The radiant heaters are activated during production in accordance with a first heating profile and activated during standby mode in accordance with a second heating profile (50), which is different from the first heating profile.
