    • A multiplex filter has at least n filter chambers which are surrounded by a housing and/or at least one insert positioned in the housing. A metal dividing device is constructed in each of the n filter chambers, dividing each filter chamber into m resonator chambers, wherein m≧2. The resonator chambers are coupled perpendicular to the H fields and/or parallel to the central axis or with a component essentially perpendicular to the H fields and/or parallel to the central axis. A common connection is guided into the first filter chamber via a first opening in the housing, and is coupled in the same to the m resonators of the m resonator chambers. As a result of the fact that the coupling is established perpendicular to the H field, the resonator can have a very compact construction.

    • An RF duplexer waveguide filter module for the transmission and filtering of TX and RX RF signals comprising a substrate with TX and RX filter assemblies mounted thereon. One or both of the TX and RX filter assemblies comprises an RF waveguide filter assembly including a plurality of blocks of dielectric material coupled together in a side-by-side relationship. Each of the blocks of dielectric material defines at least one slit and at least one internal RF signal transmission window. One or both of the end blocks defines a step and a through-hole terminating in an opening in the step. In one embodiment, the RF duplexer waveguide filter module additionally comprises an RF antenna waveguide filter extending between and coupling the TX and RX filter assemblies to an antenna RF signal transmission line.

    • A hybrid diplexer combining planar transmission line(s) and a waveguide is disclosed. In one embodiment, a diplexer includes first, second, and third ports. The diplexer also includes a first signal path and a second signal path. The first signal path may be used to convey lower frequencies, and may be implemented using planar transmission lines. The second signal path may be used to convey higher frequencies, and may be implemented, at least in part, using a waveguide. The first signal path may be coupled between the first port and the second port, while the second signal path may be coupled between the first port and the third port. In one embodiment, the first signal path may implement a low-pass filter, while the second signal path may implement a high-pass filter.
