摘要： A water soluble strip that includes a carrier film that include water soluble polymer, one or more actives and one or more agents such as heat forming agent and/or degrading accelerator. The water soluble strip can optionally include other additives. The actives includes antimicrobial agent, cleaning agent and/or surfactant. The water soluble strip can include other materials. The heat forming agent and/or degrading accelerator, when used, are designed facilitate in degrading or dissolving the water soluble strip and/or increase the activity of the one or more actives. The water soluble film can be used for a variety of applications such as a hard surface cleaning strip, dishwashing strip, laundry cleaning strip, stop removing strip, drain unclogging strip, toilet bowl cleaning strip and the like. The water soluble strip eliminates the need to purchase and store numerous containers and/or heavy containers of cleaner that take up large amounts of shelf space.

摘要： Described herein are nanoparticle silica Pickering emulsions comprising an aqueous suspension of colloidal silica mixed with a quaternary ammonium biocide. Additionally, the composition may include a small amount of organic solvent; such as methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, and mixtures thereof; wetting agents, such as a silicone-based wetting agent; and organic bases which act as solvent buffers, if it is desirable to raise the pH of the composition, such as monoethanolamine (MEA). The combination of nanoparticle silica and quaternary ammonium biocide provides food contact sanitization at less than 200 ppm of quaternary ammonium active.

摘要： A novel antibacterial cleaning composition which exhibits exceptional germicidal activity for sustained periods of time is provided. The antibacterial cleaning composition that includes: (a) a quaternary ammonium compound; (b) an anionic polymer having an acid number greater than 10 wherein the anionic polymer is partially or completely neutralized by the quaternary ammonium compound to form a polymer complex and wherein the polymer complex is greater than about 15% by weight of the solids in the composition; (c) a dispersing agent and/or solvent; and (d) water. The composition can be incorporated into the matrix of sponges. Alternatively, the quaternary ammonium compound can be complexed directly to cellulosic sponges that have been functionalized with anionic groups.
