摘要： A cost-effective and reliable digital forensics framework is provided by exploiting multiple blockchain networks in two levels. The selected data collected from sensors on a boat is sent to a remote company database and calculated hash of the data is saved in two blockchain platforms in the first level. Hash of each block is retrieved and inserted onto a Merkle tree on a periodic basis to be stored on another blockchain in the second level which is used to detect any error in the first level blockchains. A secure platform is created with the combination of several blockchains.

The monocrystalline substrate and the plurality of epitaxially aligned contiguous monocrystalline pillars may comprise the same or different monocrystalline materials. The method provides the nanostructure where when the monocrystalline substrate and the plurality of epitaxial aligned contiguous monocrystalline pillars comprise different monocrystalline materials having a bulk crystal structure mismatch of up to about 10 percent, lattice mismatch induced crystal structure defects may be avoided interposed between the monocrystalline substrate and the plurality of epitaxially aligned contiguous monocrystalline pillars, which may have an irregular sidewall shape.

摘要： A coating for a surface of a surgical implant, the coating including a binding protein for capturing cells to the surface via a bi-functional linker molecule. The linker can have a first functional group (such as a trichlorosilyl group) for covalently linking to the surface, and a second functional group (such as a benzothiosulfonate group) for covalently linking to the binding protein. One exemplary linker molecule is S-(11-trichlorosilyl-undecenyl)benzenethiosulfonate. The coating may be a self-assembled monolayer and may also include a spacer molecule, which can be unreactive with the binding protein. The target cells may be endothelial stem cells (such as endothelial progenitor cells). The binding protein may be an antibody, antibody fragment or non-antibody derived antigen binding molecule. The binding protein may bind a cell surface marker specific to target cell type. Coated surgical implants, and methods of forming such a coating are also contemplated.

摘要： An air-cooled multi-stage compression system using centrifugal compressors is disclosed. It is packaged in a comparable volume to a water-cooled unit having the same driver horsepower. The performance is comparable and opportunities for use of the waste heat are available. Existing water-cooled units can be retrofit to run in an air-cooled mode. Special applications such as combined air compression and nitrogen compression useful in air separation applications are presented. The circulating cooling air can make the unit into an air filter of its surrounding space. Cooling air is drawn through the enclosure before being forced through the coolers above. This air movement can cool compressor housings, the control panel and the drive motors mounted in the enclosure.

摘要： This is an electrophotographic marking system that effectively cleans residual toner and toner additives from the surface of a photoreceptor. This cleaning process reduces ghosting problems that had been encountered in final copies produced by electrophotographic systems such as in copiers, printers and duplicators. This cleaning is accomplished by expedients such as increasing a cleaning brush bias, and by increasing the surface area of cleaning brushes used in the system. In addition, the development process is desensitized to the development of ghosting. This desensitizing is accomplished by expedients such as increasing the gap between the development roll and the photoreceptor and by reducing the AC development electrical bias.
