    • A mode selecting and displaying control apparatus for a camera according to the invention sets a plurality of marks representing set modes in a display state on an LCD panel and sets marks representing other modes in a non-display state while a first switch for setting modes of the camera, e.g., operation modes and flash modes, in a changeable state, is in a non-operated state. By operating a second switch for changing the modes one by one while the first switch is in an operated state, the plurality of marks in a display state are sequentially caused to flicker in accordance with a mode to be set, while marks representing other modes are set in a display state, thereby performing a mode changing operation.

    • A mechanism for the positional adjustment of an anchor for a webbing in a passive seat belt system for a vehicle is described. The mechanism includes a slide rail for guiding a slider which carries the webbing fastened thereon, an adjustment base fitted on the slide rail and defining a plurality of interlocking holes at predetermined longitudinal intervals therein, an anchor base transversely surrounding the slide rail and adjustment base for guided movement along the slide rail and adjustment base, said anchor base being engageable with the slider at an occupant-restraining position, and a latch engageable with one of the plural holes formed in the adjustment base so as to lock the anchor base on the adjustment base, thereby determining the position of the anchor base relative to the adjustment base.

    • In an automobile passive seat belt system, a slider carrying an occupant-restraining webbing fastened to an end portion thereof is guided by a drive member between a release position and an restraining position along a slide rail. The end portion is farthest from the slide rail. The slide rail has a first guide portion for guiding the drive member and a second guide portion for guiding the slider. The slider has a projection extending into the first guide portion. The projection constitutes an inner end of a slider portion at which the slider is in contact with the guide rail while sliding along the guide rail.

    • A two-component electrophotographic developer for use in developing a latent electrostatic image of a low potential. The developer is composed of a mixture of a magnetic carrier of spherical sintered ferrite particles having raised and depressed portions attributed to the primary particles on their surface, a median size of from 30 to 50 micrometers, an apparent density of less than 2.6 g/cc and an electric resistance, measured in the form of a magnetic brush, of from 6.times.10.sup.4 to 2.5.times.10.sup.6 ohms and chargeable toner particles having a volume inherent resistivity of at least 1.times.10.sup.13 ohms-cm and a specific inductive capacity of from 4 to 6. In a preferred embodiment, the chargeable toner particles have a median size of from 10 to 14 micrometers and are substantially free from particles having a particle diameter of not more than 5 micrometers. The developer can give an image of a high density, a high resolution and excellent gradation without brush marks.
