摘要： A semiconductor device testing apparatus in which ICs to be tested are transferred to a test tray TST in a loader section, the test tray is transported into a test section to test the ICs, after the completion of the test, the tested ICs on the test tray are transferred from the test tray onto a general-purpose tray in an unloader section, and the test tray which has been emptied of the tested ICs is transported to the loader section, and the above operation is repeated, and which can detect whether there is an IC on the test tray or not is provided. An IC detecting sensor for monitoring whether an IC exists on the test tray or not is provided at at least one of the positions between the unloader section and the loader section, the loader section and the test section, and the test section and the unloader section. A through-hole is provided in the bottom portion of each IC carrier mounted to the test tray, and whether an IC carrier mounted to the test tray is empty or not is determined by detecting light transmitted through the through-hole by the IC detecting sensor.

摘要： An ink jet recording method which can inhibit feathering or bleeding in a print and provide a sharp color image is disclosed. The ink jet recording method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: ejecting a droplet of an ink composition, comprising a colorant, a thermoplastic resin, and water, onto a recording medium to deposit the ink droplet on the recording medium, and heating the recording medium with the ink droplet deposited thereon at the softening temperature of the thermoplastic resin or higher temperature so as to effectively inhibit feathering or bleeding of the ink.

摘要： An ink for ink jet recording including at least a particulate pigment having a sulfur-containing dispersibility providing group chemically bonded to the pigment surface with a treatment containing sulfur, a penetrating agent and a liquid component including water. In one embodiment, the liquid component includes polyvalent metal ions and has a sulfur content that is 2,000 ppm or less as calculated in terms of SO42−. In other embodiments, the ink has (a) a sulfonic acid anion group or a sulfinic acid anion group and an alkaline metal or monovalent counter ion; (b) a penetrating agent having the formula R—EOn2—POm2—X; and (c) a sulfur-containing dispersibility providing group in an amount of 10×106 equivalent or more per gram of particulate pigment.
