The apparatus includes a mask-pattern-generating unit that generates a mask pattern on R channel, G channel and B channel by selecting pattern values constituting the mask pattern on the channels based on randomly-determined seed values; a spatial-weight-determining unit that determines the weight for spatial dithering by using the pattern values and K-bit LSB data of the high-tone input image; and an output unit that outputs an M-bit image by applying the weight to M-bit input image data, exempting the K-bit LSB data, in a dithering apparatus for expressing an M+K bit high-tone input image in an M-bit low-tone output device.

    • An apparatus and method of recovering a high pixel image are provided. The apparatus includes a camera module including a plurality of lenses, and a plurality of sub image sensors corresponding to the plurality of lenses, the plurality of sub image sensors each including a color filter having a single color, an original image generation module receiving a plurality of original color-separated images, an intermediate image generation module rearranging pixel information of pixels at identical positions at the plurality of original color-separated images provided from the original image generation module and generating an intermediate image having a higher resolution than each of the original color-separated images, and a final image generation module performing demosaicing on the intermediate image, performing deblurring on the demosaiced intermediate image, and generating a final image.

    • Provided is a camera module having a wide dynamic range (WDR) function and a reduced size. The camera module includes a lens unit including a plurality of lenses collecting incident light; a filter unit having a plurality of filtering regions corresponding to respective regions of the lenses; and an image sensor unit having a plurality of sensing regions, each converting light that passes through each of the filtering regions into an electrical signal. The filtering regions are divided into a first filtering region in which different color filters are formed and a second filtering region in which a color filter having a higher transmittance than the transmittances of the color filters formed in the first filtering region is formed.

The color correction apparatus includes: a chromatic region determination module determining a first chromatic region to which an input pixel constituting an input image belongs and a second chromatic region neighboring the first chromatic region on a basis of specified chromatic region division information; a polynomial regression operation module performing polynomial regression on the first chromatic region and the second chromatic region; and a blending module providing corrected pixel information for the input pixel by giving weight values to results of the polynomial regression on the first chromatic region and the second chromatic region.
