摘要： A gas generator is provided in which the filter life is prolonged and the pressure regulating valve is thereby protected for a prolonged periods. The gas generator is intended for electrolyzing an electrolyte in an electrolytic cell to generate a gas or gases and comprises at least one absorber for absorbing an unnecessary by-products generated from the gas generator, a filter for removing the mist generated from the absorber, and at least one pressure regulating valve for adjusting the pressure in the electrolytic cell, wherein the filter is inserted downstream from the absorber and, further, the pressure regulating valve is disposed downstream from the filter.

摘要： Systems embodying the invention include an arm having a polished mirror-like surface located on the arm. The arm includes means for mounting the arm on a shaft (or spindle) to allow the arm to rotate freely in the lateral direction (perpendicular to the length of arm). The arm is intended for use in a system which includes means for directing a beam of light onto the mirror-like surface whereby when the mirror-like surface is rotated (e.g., by Beta degrees) the beam of light reflected from the mirror-like surface is swept through a proportionate number of (e.g., 2 Beta) degrees. An electrically controllable system is coupled to the arm causing the arm to move in one direction and then in the opposite direction whereby the arm is caused to vibrate (oscillate) back and forth. In a preferred embodiment the mirror is located at one end of the arm while the other end of the arm is part of an electrically controllable magnetic system which includes a coil and means for selectively passing a current in a first sense through the coil to cause the arm to move in one direction and then for passing a current in the opposite sense through the coil to cause the arm to move in the opposite direction whereby the arm is caused to vibrate (oscillate) back and forth.

摘要： An RF coil for MRI apparatus is provided which comprises a dielectric unit, such as a bobbin, plurality of coil conductors formed on the outer peripheral surface of the dielectric unit in a mutually adjacent relation to generate a magnetic field, and frame, such as a guard ring, provided on the inner surface of the dielectric unit to define a bobbin portion of the dielectric unit. An accommodation space is provided inside the bobbin to located a living substance to be examined, allowing an RF wave to be transmitted and received to and from the subject in the accommodation space. A plurality of openings are provided in the dielectric unit per se at a location of the bobbin portion. By so doing, it is possible to reduce an induction loss in the bobbin portion which would otherwise be damaging to the electrical function of the RF coil and to obtain an RF coil of an improved Q-factor.

摘要： In a beverage dispensing unit which includes a storing unit (32), a conducting arrangement (43) for conducting a beverage from the storing unit, and a cabinet (38), the storing unit comprises a portable tank which is removable from the cabinet. The operating member is movable to expose the end of the adjusting member, so that it is readily possible to adjust the flow rate of the beverage.

摘要： A switch device is provided in which the pressing force imparted to a handling lever is transmitted through a link member to a push switch provided with a push-lock mechanism. Such a device can be used where there is limited mounting space, such as in a vehicle. The invention includes a push switch, a handling lever, a link member, an elongated hole, and a connecting pin moveable within the elongated hole, and is characterized by a restraining wall for synchronizing the position of the handling lever and the state of the slider by restraining the movement of the connecting pin. According to the invention, the state of the push switch which is provided with a push-lock mechanism and the position of the lever are synchronized in that the handling lever does not return to an unpushed position when the slider is in the locked position. This is achieved by the configuration of the connecting pin, the elongated hole and the restraining wall.
