    • Touch-responsive data transmission system for elongating transceiver battery life and assuring one-touch data transmission includes a first transceiver worn on user and a second transceiver connected to equipment utilizing first transceiver data. User contacts first transceiver signal and ground electrodes and touches a second transceiver touch electrode to establish a signal path through user. First transceiver includes a detector for detecting a start signal from the second transceiver signal electrode. Second transceiver includes a generator for generating the start signal upon touching the touch electrode. Receiving the start signal, circuit elements responsible for data transmission are battery-energized to start data transmission from first to second transceivers. Circuit elements responsible for transmitting data remain deenergized until user touches the second transceiver touch electrode to save energy during non-operation and prolong first transceiver battery life. By touching the touch electrode, automatic data transmission remains possible without requiring additional starting procedures.

    • Provided is a cursor display method of displaying a cursor, indicating a focus point while being manipulatable to move, in a two-dimensional image in which sets of laser point cloud data distributed on a three-dimensional coordinate system are shown on the basis of a predetermined view point position. The cursor display method includes: performing arithmetic on a position on the three-dimensional coordinate system which corresponds to the focus point in the two-dimensional image; defining a predetermined plane graphic region, including the corresponding position and being orthogonal to a view point position direction, on the three-dimensional coordinate system on the basis of the corresponding position; dividing a view region, originating from the view point position passing through the plane graphic region, into segments on the basis of the plane graphic region; and performing non-display processing on sets of laser point cloud data placed in any one of the divided segments.

    • According to one embodiment, a sound image localization apparatus includes following units. The first signal generating unit is configured to generate a first acoustic signal. The first speaker is configured to generate a first sound according to the first acoustic signal. The input unit is configured to input a localization magnification n. The first control filter unit is configured to adjust the first acoustic signal with a first control filter G1 calculated based on the input localization magnification n to generate a first adjusted acoustic signal. The second control filter unit is configured to adjust the first acoustic signal with a second control filter G2 calculated based on the input localization magnification n to generate a second adjusted acoustic signal. The second and third speakers are configured to generate second and third sounds according to the first and second adjusted acoustic signals, respectively.
