    • The invention relates to a horse snaffle bit with two lateral parts and a shackle, which is situated between these parts and comprises at least one joint and two lateral sections, each lateral section having an end located a distance from the joint and a borehole is made in these distal ends of the lateral sections to accommodate one of the parts in a manner that enables them to move freely. Additionally, each lateral section has a first surface area and a second surface area; the first surface area has a matte surface and extends from the joint to a distance of at least 20% and no greater than 50% of the overall length of the lateral section from the joint, and the second surface area has a high-lustrous surface and is connected to the first surface area and extends to the distal end of the lateral section.

    • The filling device houses a compressor which is connected via a suction line comprising an inlet shut-off valve to a source of gaseous fuel, and is adapted to be connected to a gaseous-fuel container via a supply line equipped with a pressure-limiting valve and a discharge valve. The inlet valve and the discharge valve are connected to a control device which together with the pressure-limiting valve, the discharge valve and, if required, the inlet valve is disposed in a pressure-resistant casing connected to a discharge line leading away from the device. The control device is adapted to be influenced in dependence on control signals from a temperature sensor detecting the environmental temperature, a pressure sensor detecting the pressure at which the compressor is supplied, and a pressure-difference sensor disposed in front of the inlet valve and detecting the difference between the pressure in the suction line and in the casing. This device enables the supply pressure to be automatically adapted to the environmental temperature, and prevents uncontrolled escape to gaseous fuel near the filling device.

    • The cooling machine or heat pump has a thermoacoustic work system having a heat source and a heat sink coupled with at least one thermoacoustic drive system of like construction. The heat source of the drive system has a higher temperature than the heat source of the work system. The machine can be used in a refrigerating system with heat energy removed from a cold chamber and used as a heat source in the thermoacoustic work system. The machine can also be used in a heat pump heating system with heat energy removed by way of a first heat exchange surface from a burner and used as a heat source in the thermoacoustic drive system. A process water circuit is used as a heat sink for the thermoacoustic drive system while a heating-water circuit is used as a heat sink for the thermoacoustic work system.
