    • A flexible thermoplastic storage bag includes first and second sidewalls providing an internal volume for receiving and storing food items. The internal volume is accessible via an opening. To close the opening, the storage bag includes first and second closure features. The first closure feature may be a pair of interlocking fastening strips that can engage and release each other to allow for repeated opening and closing of the bag. The second closure feature can be a peel seal located proximate the opening. The peel seal can be opened by opposing pulling forces applied to first and second sidewalls. To further reusability of the storage bag, the peel seal can be configured as a reusable peel seal.

    • The present invention relates to a press which comprises a pressure vessel having an internal closure. The internal closure comprises a cover, a number of elements for transmitting forces in pressurized operation between the cover and the inner wall of the pressure vessel. Each element has a first contact surface adapted to fit a contact surface of the cover and a second contact surface adapted to fit a contact surface of the inner wall of the pressure vessel. Said elements are movable away from said contact surface of the cover and said contact surface of the inner wall of the pressure vessel in the direction of the longitudinal centre axis of the pressure vessel. The invention also relates to a method for opening a pressure vessel.

    • A device for molding objects includes a mold having a molding space enclosed therein and adapted to be filled by a fluid mold material intended to solidify therein. The fluid mold material is injected under pressure into the molding space and solidifies under this high pressure. A chamber receives the mold and is filled with a medium. The medium filling the chamber and surrounding the mold is pressurized. The pressurized medium acts upon the mold from all directions with at least the same pressure magnitude as the pressure of the mold material within the mold. Therefore, the mold is isostatically balanced by the forces acting upon the mold by the mold material and the medium.

    • A method and device for high-pressure treatment of liquid substances, for example foodstuffs. The substance undergoes a cyclic process whereby a limited amount of the substance during each cycle is pressurized in a pressure intensifier (1) to a predetermined pressure and is then maintained at this pressure for a predetermined period of time. After the substance has been pressurized in the pressure intensifier (1), it is conducted to a pressure chamber (10) while maintaining the predetermined pressure. The substance is further caused to reside in the pressure chamber (10) for the predetermined period of time by being caused to pass over a predetermined distance between an inlet (9a) and an outlet (9b), which are arranged in the pressure chamber (10).

    • Two dispensing cylinders are secured in side-by-side relation and have pistons whose rods protrude through one end of the cylinders and are yoked together outside the package. A threaded nut is formed in that one end of the package, between the cylinders, and receives a threaded operator. The operator protrudes through an opening in the yoke, which provides a bearing, and is equipped with a handwheel. The threaded rod enters a pocket between the cylinders and the pistons and piston rods are not required to rotate as they are advanced. The package is preferably marked to correlate the amount of product dispensed with the extent of turning of the handwheel.
