摘要： An emergency resumption processing apparatus for an information processing system includes a program pattern writing part established within a central processing unit, which writing part writes a program pattern that causes a watchdog timer to provide an overflow action in a loading area of the emergency resumption processing program on the main memory device of the information processing system. An emergency resumption processing program loading part established within the same central processing unit reads the emergency resumption processing program from an external memory device after the writing process has been completed, and loads it on the main memory device by rewriting the program pattern written by the program writing part. As a result, if a fault arises in the transmission function of the emergency resumption processing program and the central processing unit starts to run the program on the main memory device without the emergency resumption processing program being loaded on the main memory device, the watchdog timer never becomes accidentally reset and properly detects a system abnormality, since the program pattern written in the main memory device by the program pattern writing part is run.

摘要： Disclosed is a VTR of the helical scan type having a plurality of rotary magnetic heads. This VTR can select one of a first and a second signal recording forms which are different from each other, and record signals on a magnetic tape. In the first recording form, a frequency-modulated video signal including a luminance signal and a color signal and a frequency-modulated sound signal are recorded on the same track so as to be superimposed one on the other. In the second signal recording form, a frequency-modulated luminance signal and a frequency-modulated color signal are recorded separately on tracks adjacent to each other. This VTR has compatibility with respect to the recording/reproducing of two different signals.

The EDID is also used for the connection with a display unit and the speaker connection with which the display unit is provided uniquely. For example, a sound through the 7.1 channel is easily reproduced using the speaker of the display unit in the channel of the front speaker.

This invention makes it possible to provide a flue gas treating process in which a countermeasure against SO3 present in flue gas can be easily achieved without resorting to ammonia injection and the flue gas can further be purified without the disadvantage of causing the injected substance to remain in the treated flue gas.
