    • There is provided a heavy duty tire made by using as a tread rubber a rubber composition obtained by compounding 100 parts by mass of a rubber component consisting of 90-30% by mass of (a) natural rubber and 10-70% by mass of (b) a solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber containing tin in at least one of a middle of a polymer molecular chain and a terminal of the molecular chain and having a bound styrene content of 28-45% by mass and a vinyl bond content in a butadiene portion of less than 30 mol % with 40-60 parts by mass in total of (c) carbon black and (d) silica, provided that an amount of (d) silica as a filler is 5-20 parts by mass. In the heavy duty tire, the resistance to uneven wear is considerably improved without damaging the heat buildup and wear resistance.

    • The present invention relates to a tire characterized by using as a member, a rubber composition comprising (a) a rubber component comprising at least one selected from a natural rubber and a diene base synthetic rubber, (b) silica having a nitrogen-absorbing specific surface area (N2SA) of 180 to 270 m2/g and 0.1 to 10.0 mass parts of (c) a partial ester compound of maleic anhydride and a (poly)oxypropylene derivative per 100 mass parts of the rubber component described above. Further, the present invention relates to a tire characterized by using as a tread rubber, a rubber composition comprising (A) a rubber component comprising a conjugate diene base rubber, (B) a filler comprising 10 mass % or more of a white filler based on the whole fillers and (C) a partial ester compound of maleic anhydride and a (poly)oxypropylene derivative. According to the present invention, capable of being obtained is a tire in which an abrasion resistance and a low heat build-up property are enhanced while improving a processability thereof without causing a reduction in the physical properties of a rubber composition and a problem on a working environment or a tire which is excellent in both of a driving stability and a wet gripping property.

    • In order to attenuate vibration which tends to be transmitted from a power unit to a vehicle passenger during the idling mode of engine operation, ERF filled engine mounts are arranged so that when neither of two orifice passages are restricted by impressing a voltage on ERF viscosity control electrodes included therein, the frequency at which the dynamic spring constant exhibits a minimum value is the same as the frequency at which the vibration transmission phase maximizes while one of the two orifice passages is restricted by the application of a voltage on the set of electrodes disposed therein. Rapid cyclic control of the dynamic spring constant and the vibration transmission phase for each mount used to support a power unit is carried out. This enables a desirable compromise in the control of the two different parameters.
