摘要： There is disclosed a liquid ink including a photo acid generating agent that generates an acid upon irradiation with light, a coloring component, and at least one kind of a solvent that is polymerized in the presence of an acid. It is preferable that the amount of the photo acid generating agent contained in the liquid ink falls within a range of between 1 part by weight and 10 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the solvent, the coloring component consists of a pigment, and the solvent contains at least 50 parts by weight of an acid polymerizable compound, the acid polymerizing compound polymerizing in the presence of the acid, having an alicyclic skeleton and/or an aliphatic skeleton having a viscosity of 50 mPa·s or less and a boiling point of 150° C. or more under room temperature and atmospheric pressure.

摘要： A dispersion for ink is provided, which includes a dispersion medium, powder or pigment having an average particle diameter of not more than 300 nm, a polymer dispersing agent containing a first resinous dispersing agent and a second resinous dispersing agent, and an ionic compound. A mixing amount of the powder or pigment is 2% to 60% based on a total weight of the dispersion medium, a mixing amount of the first resinous dispersing agent is 1% to 60% based on a total weight of the powder or pigment, the second resinous dispersing agent is a resin having a basic terminal and a mixing amount of the second resinous dispersing agent is 1% to 30% based on a total weight of the powder or pigment, and a mixing amount of the ionic compound is 0.01% to 40% based on a total weight of the dispersion medium.

摘要： Disclosed is a method of exposure-curing an ink layer formed on a recording medium. The layer is made of an ink comprising at least one solvent polymerizable by an acid, a photo-acid generating agent capable of generating the acid as irradiated with light, and a colorant component. This method comprises two irradiation steps. In the first irradiation, the ink layer is irradiated with light by using a light source having a first peak illuminance. The acid is thereby generated from the photo-acid generating agent. The diffusion of the acid is promoted in the layer, curing the ink layer to some extent. In the second irradiation, the ink layer is irradiated with light by using a light source having a second peak illuminance higher than the first peak illuminance. More acid is generated from the photo-acid generating agent and diffuses in the layer, completely curing the ink layer.

摘要： There is provided a photoreceptor cleanerless image forming apparatus capable of decreasing color mixture or an exposure error due to reverse transfer toner or untransferred toner. An image forming apparatus 100 according to the present invention comprises four image forming units 100a, 100b, 100c, and 100d configured to be photoreceptor cleanerless in a 4-drum tandem manner. Each image forming unit includes a photoreceptor 103a, 103b, 103c, or 103d, a charger 105a, 105b, 105c, or 105d, an exposure apparatus 106a, 106b, 106c, or 106d, and a developing apparatus 109a, 109b, 109c, or 109d. When exposure intensities Iy, Ic, Im, and Ik are assumed for exposure sources of the exposure apparatuses in the image forming units which form yellow, magenta, cyan, and black images, respectively, the exposure intensities are configured to satisfy conditions of Ik≧Ic≧Im≧Iy and Ik>Iy. This decreases an exposure error (image hysteresis) in an image formed on paper.
