    • A double armor plate construction, especially for the housing of armored vehicles, with inner and outer armor plates and with elastic buffers therebetween, distributed over the inside of the armor plates. The buffers consist primarily of natural or synthetic rubber material and have a substantially cylindrical shape. One end of the buffers is connected to a base plate fastened to the inner armor plate, whereas the other end of the buffers is respectively connected to adjacent holding screws extending through the outer armor plate. The holding screws are threadedly connected to bushings within the buffers so that the buffers are secured against movements in the axial direction thereof and transverse thereto. The bushings are provided with inner partially elastic metallic reinforcements which absorb thrust forces, especially those transverse to the central longitudinal axes of said buffers.

    • A system and method for sending a notification to a user in a social network is disclosed. A controller receives a first photo from a first user. The first user is associated with a social network. A identification module determines a first location of the first photo. The identification module determines a second location of a second user. The second user has a connection with the first user in the social network. The identification module determines that the first location matches the second location. A notification module sends a first notification to the second user. The first notification identifies the first photo. The controller receives a second photo taken at the second location. A determining engine determines to share the second photo with the first user.

    • A method for determining the opening point in time of a control valve having a coil drive of an indirectly driven fuel injector for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle may include: detecting the time curve of the current intensity of a current flowing through the coil drive, determining a current integral with respect to the detected current intensity as a function of the time and starting from a defined initial time, and determining a time at which the current integral reaches at least a predefined current integral reference value, wherein the determined time is the opening point in time of the control valve. A corresponding device and a computer program for determining the opening point in time of a control valve of an indirectly driven fuel injector are also disclosed.
