摘要： The picture image display apparatus in accordance with the present invention comprises:a flat type vacuum enclosure having a transparent face panel,an electron beam emitter which emits a predetermined number of electron beams disposed in a row in selected positions,a row of control electrodes to control intensities of said electron beams,a row of parallel deflection electrodes, every other one of them being first electrodes commonly connected each other, the other ones of them being second electrodes commonly connected to each other,a phosphor screen formed on the inner face of said face panel and,an anode of thin metal film formed on said surface of said phosphor screen,wherein the apparatus is characterized in thatevery gap defined by one of said first electrodes and one of said second electrode neighboring thereto form deflection electric fields of opposite directions to each other, and said gaps are disposed in a manner that said electron beams simultaneously pass through every said deflection gap.

摘要： A polarization fluctuation compensation device, when WDM light received by, for example, an optical reception device includes a polarization scrambled optical signal and a non-polarization scrambled optical signal, collects information related to whether optical signals having respective wavelengths are polarization scrambled, obtains a target value of control parameters which are different from each other, according to the speed of polarization fluctuations in the non-polarization scrambled optical signal based on the collected information, and performs reception processing of the non-polarization scrambled optical signal by using a control parameter set as the target value. As a result, an influence of fast polarization fluctuations generated resulting from an interaction between optical signals having respective wavelengths can be reliably compensated for, thereby enabling to realize excellent reception characteristics.

摘要： The present invention intends to find out a gene participating in addition of mannose phosphate to a sugar chain of a glycoprotein originating in a yeast belonging to the genus Pichia and provide a means of controlling the same. The present invention also intends to provide a process for producing a protein with reduction of an acidic sugar chain by using the thus controlled yeast strain belonging to the genus Pichia. Namely, the present invention includes a protein participating in the addition of mannose phosphate to a sugar chain of a glycoprotein; a gene coding this protein; a mutant of this gene; a vector carrying the mutant gene; a yeast strain belonging to the genus Pichia having been transformed by this vector; a process for producing a protein with reduction of an acidic sugar chain by using the transformed yeast strain; and a glycoprotein thus produced.
