    • A centrifugal brake assembly comprises at least one pawl, at least one biasing member, and a rotor. The at least one pawl includes a base from which a circular portion extends. The rotor includes at least one receiving portion having a notched portion configured and arranged to receive the circular portion. One of the at least one pawl and the rotor has a curved slotted portion, the at least one biasing member being seated within the curved slotted portion, and another of the at least one pawl and the rotor having a curved elongated protrusion extending in line with the curved slotted portion and the at least one biasing member. The at least one pawl is pivotable about the circular portion relative to the rotor, and the at least one pawl is configured and arranged to engage a stop member when the at least one pawl is in an engaged position.

    • A self-retracting lifeline comprises a drum including first and second sides operatively connected to a base. A rotor includes a receiving portion and is operatively connected to the base. A pawl is pivotally operatively connected to the rotor, and a biasing member is positioned between the rotor and the pawl to place a biasing force upon the pawl. A bracket member includes a cavity and a stop member extending into the cavity. The cavity is configured and arranged to receive the drum, the rotor, the pawl, and the spring. The drum is rotatably operatively connected to the bracket member and the pawl is positioned proximate the stop member. The pawl and the biasing member are held in place by the first side of the base, the rotor, and the bracket member.

    • A connector includes a body and a gate. The body has a mid portion positioned between a nose portion and a connecting portion. The nose portion terminates in a nose end. The body also has an opening positioned between the nose end and the connecting portion. The mid portion has a flexible strength member extending therethrough interconnecting the nose portion and the connecting portion. The gate has a first end coupled proximate the connection portion of the body and a second end configured and arranged to engage the nose portion of the body to selectively close the opening. The gate has a closed position when positioned across the opening and an open position when the opening is at least partially unobstructed by the gate.

    • A webbing protection system is provided. The webbing protection system includes at least one pad portion and at least one protective member. The at least one pad portion has a first pad surface and a second pad surface. The first pad surface of each pad portion is configured to engage a portion of a body of a user. The second pad surface of each pad portion has at least one pad channel guide. Each protective member has at least one raised portion. Each protective member is coupled to an associated pad portion such that the raised portion of the protective member is aligned with an associated pad channel guide of the associated pad portion to provide a first guide path for the first webbing. Each protective member provides wear and abrasion protection for the first webbing proximate the guide path.
