摘要： A fish receptacle. The fish receptacle includes a container having a hinged lid with a door assembly providing access to an interior of the container. The door assembly enables users to engage a fish, hands free, thereby enabling users to manipulate the fish and subsequently store it in the interior of the container without utilizing their hands. The door assembly includes an aperture and a frame therearound, wherein the aperture provides access to the interior of the container. The frame includes a track having rails and slot, wherein a sliding member is slidably disposed. The sliding member is movable between a closed position and an open position along the track, thereby enabling the sliding door assembly to be opened to expose the aperture and/or closed onto a fish to pin it against a wall of the frame for hands free manipulation.

The bracket is adjustable so as to be changeable to fit different sized live wells. Four L-shaped bracket portions are each slidably mounted with respect to two adjacent bracket portions. A thumb screw located within an elongated slot is manually rotatable to fix the position of interengaging arms of adjacent L-shaped bracket portions with respect to each other. By the sliding fit of the interengaging bracket portions, the bracket can be adjusted from a minimum size of 101/4 by 61/4 to 171/4 inches by 83/4 inches and anywhere in between these ranges of dimensions. Within this wide range of extension and retraction, the adjustable live well bracket can be adjusted to fit into most any size live well.

摘要： The invention provides a plant for the storage of fish and shellfish that includes a net cage for submerging in a body of water. The cage includes a floor section, surrounding walls with bottom ends thereof attached to a perimeter of the floor section, and an upper roof section of netting with bottom ends thereof attached to top ends of the walls. The roof conforms to a frustoconical shape when in use and includes a central buoyant member in an upper end thereof. In use, the roof extends slackly from the central buoyant member to the points of attachment at the surrounding walls. The surrounding walls are vertically supported by a plurality of buoyant bodies attached to the upper edge of the walls. The entire cage is supported in water by a support section supplied with a buoyant element. The support section is, in turn, held in place by an anchoring section that includes a plurality of substantially parallel vertical cables that are anchored to bottom. Because the anchoring cables are vertical, the plant is able to move laterally, and downwardly, under forces of strong wind, wave, or current action and thereby become completely submerged to protect the plant, and enclosed fish, from the elements.

摘要： A floating fish receptacle for retaining caught fish in a live condition under water includes a molded foam, generally cylindrical housing member which includes as part thereof in unitary construction a floatation collar outwardly extending from the outside diameter surface and a pair of baffle members inwardly extending from the inside surface. The baffle members are arranged in an axially (vertically) separated relationship and are radially spaced 180.degree. apart so as to create a zig zag slide action for fish which are dropped through the top opening of the housing. As the fish enters, it strikes one downwardly and inwardly inclined surface of one baffle member and then is transferred to the corresponding surface of the other baffle member and then on through to a mesh bag which is suspended therebelow for retention of the fish. The top opening of the housing is above the water level while the opposite and lower opening of the housing member is below the water level. The mesh bag is secured around this lower opening so as to insure that the mesh bag is below water at all times that fish are stored therein. The baffle members are removable from the main housing as is the mesh bag. Consequently, the main housing member may be used in combination with the mesh bag without the baffle members and the mesh bag may be used independently of the housing member.
