摘要： A roller hemming processing device that has first to fifth processing surfaces and that rolls the respective processing surfaces while pressing the respective processing surfaces against a hemming flange in such a posture that an axis of a roller is parallel to an outer panel is used. A pre-processed portion obtained by bending the hemming flange to form a right angle with an inner flange is molded by using the third, fifth and fourth processing surfaces in a stepwise manner such that the angle of inclination with respect to the axis decreases. The pre-processed portion is inclined toward an inner panel side by using the second processing surface. An inclined wall portion that is inclined to contact the inner panel, and a hem portion that is in close contact with the inner panel are molded by simultaneously using the first and second processing surfaces.

摘要： A device for feeding material in the form of a coil of wire from a fixture for receiving and rotating said coil of wire through a straightening apparatus and a heating station to a hot and semi-cold metal-working machine in an intermittent manner. The device includes a cold feeding fixture with one or more pair of rollers which act on the cold wire to pull the wire from the coil and through the straightening apparatus and a hot feeding fixture downstream of the heating station with at least one pair of feed rollers which act on the hot wire and urge the hot wire against a stop of the metal-working machine. The device also includes adjustable link means for driving both feeding fixtures in formulant synchronism with the metal-working machine.

摘要： The strip material which is fed intermittently in desired feed lengths is provided with register marks at feed length intervals and photoelectric means continuously scan the strip to detect the marks and effect adjustment of the feed rolls either forwardly or rearwardly through the brake mechanism so as obtain the desired accurate registration of the marks. The photoelectric means produce electric signals as the marks are scanned and said electric signals are passed by shutter means only in the event the mark is detected in either the lead or in the lag zones. The electric signals thus passed are caused to produce electric pulses which are delivered to an electric motor having driving relation with the brake mechanism.

A shear cuts off successive leading end portions of the stock and forms the stock into short pieces. 摘要： An apparatus for changing the direction of travel of a web-like material without inverting the front and rear surfaces of the web-like material is improved in that a plurality of guide rotors are disposed on each of a plurality of spiral curves along an imaginary conical surface so as to be rotatable about axes intersecting at right angles with the corresponding spiral curve on the imaginary conical surface, and a conical surface formed by an enveloping surface of these guide rotors is used as a traveling path of the web-like material, whereby shortcomings inherent in such apparatus in the prior art can be eliminated.
