摘要： This invention relates to a lock assembly to be used in conjunction with two or more padlock assemblies. The lock assembly comprises a main body 1, a main shackle 2, and a locking portion 7. When all subsidiary padlocks 5, 6 are locked into the apertures 3, 4 the main shackle 2 cannot be opened. The removal of either subsidiary shackle allows the locking portion 7 to circumvent the second subsidiary shackle and the main shackle 2 may be opened. This allows two persons to independently use the padlock without sharing keys or other secure information. Moreover the lock assembly may be used with any secure fitting designed for use with a traditional padlock.

One or more electronic cash devices store electronic funds and transfer funds in response to funds transfer request when authorized by an authorization signal. A processor is used for connecting the funds transfer request from the computer system to the electronic cash device and for transferring electronic funds from the electronic cash device to the computer system when the authorization signal is present. User control means, including for example a pushbutton switch and an LCD display, that is not accessible by the computer system is used for providing the authorization signal. The secure funds device has a secure interface that prevents the computer system from generating the authorization signal. The present invention prevents a computer from making unauthorized transfers from a electronic cash device such as a smart card.

摘要： A padlock concept consisting of a novel shackle comprised of two tapered shackle elements arranged so that they overlay each other to enclose and opening sufficient to accept the staple of a hasp or attachment device. The shackle elements are connected at one end and when unlocked and unlatched are free to move apart, in a motion causing the two shackle elements to separate, providing a clearance between them, at the unconnected end. Each shackle element includes an opening to allow the staple of the hasp to pass to the common opening. This clearance occurs in opposing elements so that when the elements are brought together or closed the staple of the hasp is completely enclosed by the two shackle elements which substantially fill the space available within the hasp staple. The elements are then latched and locked to provide the security function of a padlock engaged with the staple of a hasp or attachment device.

摘要： The present invention relates to a padlock designed for application in the locking of sliding doors with two panels that meet by their butt ends or vertical edges, which are held fast to one another by the padlock itself, being constituted by two flat bodies formed by a variable number of platens super-imposed and joined with respect to one another by means of rivets in such a way that the said bodies have an exterior quadrilateral zone, which is extended in convergent form to terminate in a semicircular shape at its opposite end, thus originating a number of flat and lengthened bodies that are arranged according to parallel and spaced planes; provision having been made for the connection of the said bodies to be effected through the semicircular end zone of the said bodies, by virtue of a shaft common to both, which shaft is fixed and without movement, causing one of the bodies to be fixed while the other is mobile and rotates around the said shaft, the said mobile body having a cylindrical housing in its quadrangular zone or free end, which housing has a channel formed on the inner lateral surface of the said housing; while the fixed body has a small group of platens corresponding to the end quadrangular zone of the said body, which group of small platens faces the housing of the mobile body; with the special feature that this group of small platens, as well as the fixed body have a common pass-through orifice in which the main cylindrical lock body is situated, which element is prefectly situated facing the housing of the mobile body when the padlock is in the closed position.

摘要： An unexposed shackle combination padlock having a padlock body and a U-shaped laterally swingable shackle wherein the padlock body includes relatively reciprocatively movable outer shell and core portions with one of the shackle legs journaled in the core portion and the other leg swingable to open position only when said shell and core positions are shifted from a relatively alined to a relatively displaced position. Two separate locking systems are provided, including a combination dial system having wheel assemblies and a fence member for selectively locking the shell and core portions against relative movement, and a key locking system is provided which is disabled from key operation whenever the dial wheels are not set on the proper combination. Either one of the combination locking system or the key locking system may be used separately, or they may be used in combination providing effectively a third locking system.
