摘要： Systems and methods are disclosed for connection multiplexing in a parallel processing environment. An example method includes requesting, responsive to a request to perform multiple database operations in a single transaction, a connection identifier for a physical connection to the database, providing the connection identifier to each of a plurality of workers, and performing the multiple database operations using the plurality of workers. Each worker may obtain a work item from a work queue, initiate a database request for the work item, and provide the database request to a database server. The database request represents one of the multiple database operations and includes the connection identifier. The database server may determine that the connection identifier corresponds to the physical connection, add the request to a connection queue associated with the physical connection, and execute requests from the connection queue against the database via the physical connection.

摘要： A method for optimizing query compilation by tuning memory across a database cluster is provided. The method may include receiving, by a global memory tuner, memory configuration information from a plurality of nodes within the database cluster. The method may also include determining a node within the plurality of nodes having a least available memory value relative to a remainder of nodes within the plurality of nodes based on the received memory configuration information. The method may then include calculating a globally tuned memory value based on a memory value associated with the determined node. The method may further include determining a memory distribution based on the calculated globally tuned memory value. The method may also include sending the determined memory distribution to the plurality of nodes.

摘要： A system and computer implemented method for execution of aggregation expressions on a distributed non-relational database system is provided. According to one aspect, an aggregation operation may be provided that permits more complex operations using separate collections. For instance, it may be desirable to create a report from one collection using information grouped according to information stored in another collection. Such a capability may be provided within other conventional database systems, however, in a non-relational database system such as NoSQL, the system is not capable of performing server-side joins, such a capability may not be performed without denormalizing the attributes into each object that references it, or by performing application-level joins which is not efficient and leads to unnecessarily complex code within the application that interfaces with the NoSQL database system.

Deployment is in a cluster which mirrors the cluster of the database to be controlled. The system includes data publishing modules, action agents, rules processing modules, deployment managers, rule compilation and management tools. Together these provide a distributed, fault tolerant system for the automated rules-based control of work in a database cluster. For example, in deploying an update, a deployment manager pushes the update to one or more nodes and instructs each of the one or more nodes to restart in a bootstrap mode. The deployment manager generates a respective configuration package for each of the one or more nodes, and restarts each of the one or more nodes in a production mode.

摘要： Techniques for requesting and providing process plant data using a source-independent standardized query are provided. A requesting device generates a standardized query to obtain data from one or more data sources, such as relational or non-relational databases. The query utilizes a standardized format that does not depend upon the data source, which query may be generated as a JSON file. The standardized query may not be directly usable for any data sources. Instead, a data device generates one or more source-specific queries upon receipt of the standardized query. The source-specific queries utilize syntax native to each data source to obtain data. In some instances, the received data must be further processed to adjust for different sample times or sampling rates, such as by interpolation. The resulting data from all data sources may be aggregated into a data frame prior to being returned to the requesting device.

In one embodiment, a database system includes a master database, a replica database, a shared memory, and a multiplexer coupled to the master database, replica database, and shared memory. The multiplexer is configured to receive a request from a client computing system which includes a database query. Based on a lookup in the shared memory, the multiplexer determines that the database query can be satisfied by the replica database. In response, the database query is routed to the replica database for execution.
