The inspection unit is provided with a light emitting unit for emitting prescribed light toward the hatching egg, a cap attachment unit through which the light having been emitted to the hatching egg and having transmitted through the hatching egg passes, and a light receiving unit for receiving the light that has passed through the cap attachment unit. The cap attachment unit includes a cylindrical cap coming into contact with the hatching egg, and a plate to which the cap is attached.

摘要： An aerosol generation system has a light source arrangement which provides signals at first and second wavelengths, and the detected light signals are recorded. The detected signals are processed to derive at least a measure of the aerosol particle size. This can be used in combination with the other parameters which are conventionally measured, namely the aerosol density and flow velocity. Thus, optical measurement (possibly in combination with an air flow measurement) can be used to estimate the aerosol output rate as well as the particle size.

摘要： A turbidity sensor includes a housing having a first side along an exterior surface defining a channel for holding a liquid, the housing also having a second side along an interior surface; a first turbidity sensor having an emitter and a receiver adjacent the channel; and a second turbidity sensor having an emitter and a receiver substantially identical to that of the first turbidity sensor located on the second side of the housing spaced from the channel. The liquid is precluded from passing between the emitter and the receiver of the second turbidity sensor at any time. The first turbidity sensor outputs a signal combinable with the signal from the second turbidity sensor to determine the turbidity of the liquid while accounting for the temperature of the liquid without determining the temperature of the liquid. Related dishwasher designs include such sensors.

摘要： Systems and methods for determining liquid phase turbidity of multiphase wastewater. A turbidity sensor is provided with multiphase wastewater, such as by placement of the sensor in a reaction chamber, and generates a signal in response to a detected turbidity of the wastewater. The generated signal is sampled to produce a plurality of signal samples. The samples are compared to a threshold, and a turbidity of the wastewater is determined based on samples falling within the threshold. The threshold may be determined based on a statistical analysis of the plurality of samples, or may be set to a predetermined value. The wastewater may be provided by placing the turbidity sensor in a flocculation chamber, and a control signal generated based on the determined turbidity of the wastewater. This control signal may be used to adjust the amount of a chemical, such as a coagulant, introduced into the wastewater.
