    • There is described a post assembly for a safety fence for bordering an elevated work area, the work area including a wall section supporting an elevated floor section to be bordered by the safety fence, the post assembly comprising a stanchion having upper and lower sections, the lower section having a first upper and a second lower plate fixedly connected thereto, the first and second plates being vertically spaced apart by a pre-determined distance, the upper portion having one or more brackets connected thereto for supporting horizontal safety rails which extend between adjacent post assemblies, and a third plate connectable to the wall section at a selected location, the third plate including means for a torque-resistant connection to the first plate to hold the stanchion in a vertically upright position relative to the wall section, wherein the second plate is connectable to the wall section when the first plate is connected to the third plate, thereby securing the stanchion to the wall section.

    • The present invention relates to a temporary safety barrier system, which comprises a plurality of posts, a plurality of mesh panels, and a plurality of mesh panel holders. Each mesh panel holder is mountable on a respective post of said plurality of posts, and comprises a post coupler and first and second mesh panel supports, which are attached in common to the post coupler. The post coupler is movable along the post when mounted thereon, and has a locking member for releasably locking the post coupler in a holding position at the post. The second mesh panel support encircles the post in the mounted state. Each mesh panel support has a support hook for receiving a mesh wire of one or more mesh panels. The temporary safety system is arranged to enable inclination of a mesh panel during said height adjustment, thereby facilitating the height adjustment while the mesh panels remain mounted.

    • A post support assembly for an adjustable safety rail barricade is comprised of a universal flat attachment base plate to which a post is secured. The post support has a post connector pivotally connected to a guide bracket. The post connector has an open top end to receive a post therein in a detachably securable fashion. The flat attachment base plate has a pair of opposed side connecting arms disposed on opposed sides of a central connecting arm. At least two spaced-apart incline slots are provided in the side and central connecting arms and are all inclined in a common direction and at a common angle and have a lower open end. The inclined slots in the side connecting arms are spaced apart at predetermined distance. Preferably, but not exclusively, the post support is for a safety rail barricade to be used by roofers.

    • The present disclosure provides a retaining wall fall protection system having a plurality of base plates. It further includes a plurality of uprights pivotally attached to the base plates and a cross-brace attached to adjacent uprights at opposite ends of the cross-brace. A plurality of guardrails are provided and attached to guardrail adjustment brackets. The guardrail brackets are removably attachable to the uprights at various positions along the length of the uprights. Finally, there is provided an attachment assembly which secures the uprights in position adjacent the retaining wall. The attachment assembly comprises an attachment strap which is mounted to the upright and sized to extend through the retaining wall. A retainer on the opposite side of the wall engages a distal end of the attachment strap to secure the scaffolding to the retaining wall under construction.

    • A railing mounting device for mounting railings to concrete slab walls includes a stanchion and an anchor insert. The stanchion is releasably mountable to the anchor insert. The stanchion is elongate and extends longitudinally between opposite first and second ends. The second end has a mounting member rigidly extending therefrom for sliding snug releasably securable mating engagement in a corresponding cavity in the anchor insert. The anchor insert is rigidly mountable into a concrete wall panel by flanges, fins or the like. The mounting member lies generally within a first plane containing the first and second ends. The first end is laterally offset in the first plane relative to the second end so as to extend over the mounting member in the first plane. Rail mounts are mountable to the stanchion towards the first end so as to mount rails to the stanchion offset relative to the second end.

    • A safety rail for allowing temporary attachment to balconies and stairways while a conventional railing is removed thereby preventing an individual from accidentally being injured. The inventive device includes an outer member having a plurality of outer apertures, an inner member having a plurality of inner apertures that is slidably positionable within a lumen of the outer member, a first bracket attachable to the distal end of the inner member for mounting to one of the opposing support posts, and a second bracket attachable to the outer member for attachment to another of the opposing support posts. A second pin is insertable into the outer apertures and inner apertures for allowing broad adjustment of the overall length for various sizes of balconies. A threaded shaft preferably extends from the second bracket for threadable engagement with the outer member thereby allowing fine adjustment of the overall length. Another embodiment of the present invention includes a first bracket having a hook for allowing attachment about a structure without requiring fasteners. Another embodiment of the present invention includes the first bracket with a cuff member having a swivel attachment.
