摘要： Apparatus and system for increasing the efficiency of absorption of oxygen by biodegradable waste and particle break-up thereof, by introducing waste and gas, which may be air, into a collector under a highly agitated state, and agitating the air and waste under pressure in the collector by the impeller of a centrifugal pump as back pressure is provided in the collector. The collector is mismatched relative to the impeller to increase the retention and mixing time of the air and waste in the collector. The collector within the impeller forms a pump designed to operate close to its shut-off condition for increased retention time in the collector.

摘要： A submerged aeration apparatus has a hollow shaft extending downwards from the surface of a body of liquid. The hollow shaft is used to transfer surface air or other gases to the body of liquid. An outlet for gas near the bottom end of the shaft is positioned below the surface of the body of liquid. An impeller connected to the shaft near the outlet for gas has an aperture adjacent the shaft for drawing liquid towards the impeller and circulating the liquid past the gas outlet for mixing the liquid with the gas, the impeller then expelling the liquid.

摘要： This invention is a magnetically coupled microorganism culture apparatus used in the expansion culture of microorganisms, especially in the expansion culture conducted for test tube microorganisms. In one example, the culture apparatus is powered by a micro motor, rotation of the micro motor is transferred to the air impeller by virtue of a magnetically coupled device, causing the air impeller to rotate at a high speed. Under the effect of centrifugal force, the air in the air impeller is sprayed into the culture medium liquid in the container for the growth of microorganisms. This invention is substantially different from the shaker being used today, thus achieving the purpose of reducing cost and saving energy.

摘要： An injector for injecting gas into a molten metal. The injector has a rotor that is rotatable about an axis of rotation, the rotor having a cylindrical projection-free side surface, a bottom surface, and a cavity for receiving molten metal located centrally of the rotor with respect to the axis of rotation. The rotor is provided with a plurality of openings in the side surface spaced around the rotor for ejecting molten metal and gas from the rotor upon rotation of the rotor about the axis of rotation. At least one opening in the bottom surface communicates with the cavity permitting entry of molten metal into the cavity, and a plurality of passages disposed in the rotor interconnect the cavity and the openings in the side surface. A gas passageway introduces gas into molten metal present within the rotor but lacks direct communication with the cavity, and is provided with at least one outlet opening into at least one of the plurality of passages to ensure regular and even gas distribution. The invention also relates to a molten metal degassing apparatus comprising a trough-like container for conveying a molten metal from an inlet to an outlet, and at least one gas injector of the above-mentioned kind.
