摘要： A Laparoscopic Visualization System comprising a sterile, self-contained, disposable apparatus used in medical procedures for heating and applying an anti-fog solution to the distal end of laparoscopes or surgical devices is presented. It additionally serves as an endoscopic lens protector and cleaner. An efficient heating and narrow range temperature control mechanism is used in combination with an anti-fog solution to provide clear visualization through a distal lens of the surgical device inserted into the system. The configuration prevents the anti-fog solution from spilling out of the system and is designed to also be used as a holder for the surgical scope, protecting the distal lens from impact with a shock absorbent outer shell, prior to, during, and after a medical procedure.

摘要： A system for simultaneously heating multiple elongated surgical viewing instruments comprises a heater with a slot and an insert received by the slot. The insert has multiple elongate cavities, each configured to receive the tip of a viewing instrument. A cover, configured to cover the heater with the insert in the slot thereof, provides a plurality of openings aligned with the cavities of the insert. In the preferred embodiment, the heater is reusable and the insert and cover are disposable. The insert and cover may be integrally joined into a single unit. The system may further include a stand upon which the heater is supported, one or more cavities to receive cleaning swabs to be heated, and/or a pad to heat a cleaning wipe or other article.

摘要： An endoscope and a method for chemical modification of the members thereof are provided, on one hand, a transparent isolation film is utilized such that the tissue fluid inside a subject cannot stick to a lens of the endoscope to maintain the optimal image capturing status of the lens of the endoscope without the need to extract the endoscope frequently from the body of the subject, such that not only the time consumed in the examination process may be reduced, but also the uncomfortable feeling of the subject in the examination process may be decreased; on the other hand, a chemical modification method for members of the endoscope is provided to reduce the negative impact on the lens of the endoscope resulted from liquid pollutant or mist, moisture.

摘要： A medical cleaning system is used for cleaning at least a portion of a surgical instrument. The system may include a tray, a heating pack, and a non-abrasive cleaning pouch. The tray may include a basin area used as a reservoir for maintaining, e.g., antifogging fluid, and a sloped ramp to allow liquids to flow down into its basin area. The system may also include a heating pack enclosing a heating pack solution. The heating pack solution may be a solution having nucleating properties. The heating pack solution may be activated by a mechanical activator to generate heat to the antifogging fluid. The generated heat may be transferred to the antifogging fluid residing on the non-abrasive cleaning pouch. The surgical instrument may be cleaned by wiping a portion of the surgical instrument, e.g., a lens, over the non-abrasive cleaning pouch.
