    • A reinforced apparatus for a lever handle of a door lock comprises a housing having a first bottom plate and a second bottom plate, in which the first bottom plate connects a first annular wall and a second annular wall, and the second bottom plate connects the second annular wall and a third annular wall; a recess formed between the first annular wall and the second annular wall; and a rotary member, in which a coiled spring is disposed between a first and a second side plates of the rotary member: wherein the second bottom plate of the housing is formed with an axially extending predetermined bending member to be bent inwardly for a predetermined angle, after the rotary member and the coiled spring are disposed within the recess of the housing, so that the rotary member is maintained within the recess of the housing and can be operated externally.

    • A reinforcing apparatus for a lever handle of a door lock includes a housing fixed to a door and provided around a driving shaft of the door lock. The housing has a wall transverse to the driving shaft. The wall has a hole formed therethrough for passage of the driving shaft. A rotary member is mounted in the housing for rotating simultaneously with the driving shaft. The rotary member is sleeved on the driving shaft and has an engaging plate which projects axially from an outer peripheral edge thereof. A coiled spring is provided around the rotary member for biasing the rotary member to return and maintain the lever handle at its original unoperated position after the rotary member is rotated by the lever handle. The coiled spring has two legs extending radially outwardly to abut against the engaging plate. One of the legs is displaceable by the engaging plate. The housing further includes a stopping unit provided on the wall thereof. The stopping unit is aligned radially with and is located outwardly of the engaging pate when the lever handle is in the unoperated position. The other one of the legs is kept immobilized by the stopping unit when the rotary member rotates.

    • A door lock set includes a housing set to be mounted on an outer side of a door, an outside rotary lock unit mounted on the housing set and provided with a rotatable deadbolt spindle, a deadbolt assembly having a deadbolt and a bolt driving mechanism operatively driven by the deadbolt spindle for extending the deadbolt outwardly to lock the door, an outside lever mechanism mounted on the housing set and provided with a rotatable latch spindle, a latch assembly having a latch and a latch driving mechanism operatively driven by the latch spindle for extending the latch outwardly to lock the door, and a link assembly. The link assembly includes a pull shaft connected operably to the outside lever mechanism so as to drive rotatably the latch spindle, a coupling shaft connected pivotally to the pull shaft and mounted pivotally to the housing set, and a driving cam connected operably to the outside rotary lock unit for co-rotation with the deadbolt spindle. The driving cam contacts the coupling shaft and drives the coupling shaft to pivot so as to pull the pull shaft and enable the pull shaft to drive rotatably the latch spindle in order to result in simultaneous retraction of the deadbolt and the latch when the outside rotary lock unit is operated to rotate the deadbolt spindle.

    • A retaining assembly includes a hollow casing mounted on a door. The casing has a horizontal wall portion formed with a through-hole and an upright rotary shaft which has an end portion that extends out of the casing through the wall portion and which is rotatable relative to the casing. The positioning plate is rotatable with the shaft in the first direction to a position where the pin engages the first end portion of the positioning plate by a friction force sufficient to arrest releasably rotation of the shaft in a second direction opposite to the first direction so as to retain releasably the door at the open position.

    • A door closer includes a plate-shaped mounting bracket and a closer body. The bracket is secured to a door. The closer body is secured detachably to the bracket by a particular tongue and groove engagement and a fastener. The closer body has an opening which is sized so that the bracket can be completely concealed by the closer body. After the fastener is removed, the closer body can slide within the bracket. The closer body has two opposed side walls each having an inner surface which has longitudinally spaced-apart grooves. The bracket body has two opposed sides on each of which spaced-apart tongues are provided for engaging with the grooves. The closer body can be sleeved on the bracket and then moved laterally relative to the bracket so as to achieve the tongue and groove engagement.
