    • A network system including a customer replaceable unit (CRU) having an excellent security function for operation information which system can realize improvement of the use efficiency of operation information for making the CRU operate, and reduction in costs, is provided. An apparatus main body of a multifunction printer, a server, a personal computer, etc. are connected to a network of a network system, and a CRU is attached to the apparatus main body so as to be detachable. Operation information necessary for making the CRU operate is stored in the server. The apparatus main body obtains operation information of the CRU from the server via the network and stores the obtained operation information into a buffer memory, and causes the CRU to operate based on the operation information. The operation information stored in the buffer memory is erased when communication between the apparatus main body and the CRU ends.

    • The stent of the present invention is a tubular member comprising annular members 1 arranged in a longitudinal direction thereof for keeping a body lumen open, and one or more connecting elements 2 for connecting longitudinally adjoining two annular members 1, 1 with one another. Each annular member 1 comprises first annular member elements 11 and second annular member elements 12 which are alternately jointed together in the circumferential direction of the annular member 1. The annular members 1 are expandable in the radial direction thereof. The stent is flexible and excellent in trackability to lumens, thus making it possible to allow the stent to pass through the three-dimensionally meandering lumens. The stent is substantially free from shortening and makes it possible to provide the stent with a lateral hole.

    • A method of evaluating a PLL built-in circuit includes outputting an applied pattern signal from a test equipment synchronized with a system clock signal received by the test equipment, dividing the applied pattern signal into M/N frequencies by a frequency divider, wherein M and N are positive integers. The method further includes inputting the divided pattern signal into the PLL built-in circuit, inputting an output pattern signal outputted from the PLL built-in circuit into the test equipment and caring the output pattern signal with the applied pattern signal so as to evaluate the PLL built-in circuit. In the above method, M and N are set in a manner that a frequency of the output pattern signal from the PLL built-in circuit is substantially equal to a frequency of the system clock signal.
