    • A metal gasket is used for an internal combustion engine, preferably as a manifold gasket. The gasket is formed of a plurality of metal gasket sections, and at least one metal connecting section situated between two gasket sections adjacent to each other to connect the same. Each gasket section has a sealing hole to be sealed and a sealing device situated around the sealing hole. At least one through hole is formed in the connecting section. The through hole allows the connecting section to easily deform to absorb deformation of the gasket due to expansion and contraction of the engine. The gasket with the deformable connecting section can be easily and accurately formed.

    • An air bag device has an air bag at least partially receivable in a predetermined receiving part of a vehicle along with an inflator for inflating the air bag. A band is breakable by a deployment pressure of the air bag and is provided such that at least a part of the air bag is strapped by the band to retain a folded shape prior to deployment of the air bag. The band is formed of a woven fabric in an embodiment and includes a breaking part formed by breaking assisting structure arranged in a line corresponding to a breaking direction of the breaking part. In an embodiment of the air bag device the woven fabric has weaving thread inclined at an inclination angle with respect to the breaking direction of the breaking part. A further feature provides a retainer including an attachment part for fixing the air bag to the inflator and the band including an insertion hole part formed therein through which the attachment part of the retainer and the inflator are inserted such that the air bag is strapped together with the retainer by the band.

    • A parallelism adjusting mechanism of a probe card is provided. The parallelism adjusting mechanism can bring probes held by a probe card into uniform contact with a wafer even if a parallelism between a mounting reference surface for the probe card and the wafer as a test object is lost. To achieve this purpose, specifically, to adjust a parallelism of a probe card (101) that holds a plurality of probes (1) for electrically connecting a wafer (31) as a test object and a circuitry for generating a signal for a test with respect to the wafer (31), adjusting screws (22) as at least part of an inclination changing unit are provided. The inclination changing unit changes a degree of inclination of the probe card (101) with respect to a mounting reference surface (S1) of a prober (202) for mounting the probe card (101) thereon.
