摘要： An on-chip phase-locked loop circuit has reduced power consumption in a semiconductor integrated circuit. The phase locked loop circuit is equipped with a phase frequency comparator, a loop attenuator, a charge pump, a loop filter, a voltage controlled oscillator and a divider. The attenuator includes a sampling circuit and a counter. A sampling pulse and first and second output signals both outputted from the phase frequency comparator are supplied to the sampling circuit. The sampling circuit outputs a sampling output signal. When the counter completes a countup of a predetermined number of sampling pulses outputted from the sampling circuit, the counter outputs a countup completion output signal. The charge pump outputs a charging current or a discharging current to the loop filter in response to the countup completion output signal.

摘要： An image recording apparatus, for conveying a roll paper as a sheet and a cut paper as a sheet to record an image on the sheet, includes a sheet type selecting unit, a rotation amount measurement unit, a determination unit, a conveyance suspension unit, and a first conveyance restarting unit. The sheet type selecting unit allows a user to select a roll paper mode and a cut paper mode. The determination unit determines whether the conveyed sheet is the roll paper or the cut paper based on the rotation amount measured by the rotation amount measurement unit. The conveyance suspension unit suspends the sheet conveyance in response to it being determined that the conveyed sheet is different from the selected sheet type. The first conveyance restarting unit restarts a sheet conveyance by the conveyance suspended during the cut paper mode, by switching to the roll paper mode.

摘要： There is disclosed a thermal transfer printer utilizing a one time ink sheet or a multi-print ink sheet. In order to avoid sticking of the ink sheet and the recording sheet, for example where there is an interruption in facsimile transmission or when a recording interval exceeds a predetermined time, the thermal head is energized to maintain a high temperature state and then the recording paper is transported by a predetermined amount, thereby separating the ink sheet and the recording paper.

摘要： A tape loading apparatus for loading a cassette tape with a lid and locking member transversely to said elongated side of said cassette. A holder in said housing receives the cassette, short side first, and holds it as it is pulled in relative to the housing. A slider opening-closing plate is then moved from an out-of-the-way position to a position whereby engaging claws and a projection engage the slider of said cassette and the locking claw of said cassette, thereby releasing said locking claw and sliding back said slider to unlock the cassette lid. The housing is then moved vertically downward to place the cassette in a tape playing position. A cam plate with multiple cam slots cooperates with multiple lever arms to move the holder, slider opneing-closing plate, and housing in the proper sequence and directions.
