    • A printing plate discharging method and a printing plate discharging device can quickly and reliably discharge a printing plate from a surface plate, which printing plate has been placed in a state wherein one end portion of the printing plate projects from the surface plate, without making an exposed face of the printing plate dirty or scratched. At a discharging mechanism section of an automatic exposure device, a temporary support arm corresponds with the one end portion of the printing plate, which end portion projects from on the surface plate. The temporary support arm is raised higher than the surface plate by a moving stage moving and a roller thereby abutting against a projecting portion of the temporary support arm. Thus, the temporary support arm lifts up the one end portion of the printing plate. In this state, a plate discharging hook engages the one end portion of the printing plate (a lifted portion) and pushes the printing plate toward another end portion of the surface plate. Thus, the printing plate can be discharged from the surface plate.

    • An apparatus automatically feeds photosensitive printing plates having the characteristic that transport and storage are possible in a state where the photosensitive printing plates have been stacked together such that back sides of the photosensitive printing plates are brought into direct contact with photosensitive surfaces on front sides of the photosensitive printing plates. The apparatus includes: a storage member that accommodates a bundle comprising a plural number of the photosensitive printing plates stacked together without slip sheets; a takeout member that separates and takes out the photosensitive printing plates from the bundle one plate at a time; and a conveyance member that conveys the taken-out photosensitive printing plates to an exposure apparatus. According to this apparatus, the conventional configuration and process of separating, conveying, and stocking slip sheets from the photosensitive surfaces of the photosensitive printing plates can be omitted.

    • A printing plate sucker capable of stably suction-adhering and sheet-feeding both a printing plate and a protective sheet simultaneously without causing wrinkling at the protective sheet during the suction-adherence and sheet-feeding. The sucker is structured by a main body portion formed of a stiff body, a skirt portion formed of a resilient body, and a spring. When a moment from a printing plate acts on the sucker during sheet-feeding, the spring resiliently deforms. Thus, the main body portion is displaced (inclined) in the moment application direction, effective weight on the sucker is reduced, and a state in which a reduced moment acts on the sucker is achieved (the moment is substantially absorbed). Furthermore, the spring which redirects the moment is structured separately from the main body portion and skirt portion. Therefore, the sucker will not be deformed, an interleaf sheet will not be hoistingly deformed, and wrinkling will not occur.
