    • A non-contact voltage detecting method and device are provided. The non-contact voltage detecting device includes a discharge lamp having an excitation voltage and a lighting voltage applied thereon, a boost circuit coupled to the discharge lamp for providing an operation voltage to the discharge lamp and a switch circuit coupled to the boost circuit for providing a periodical high-low signal level to control the boost circuit wherein the discharge lamp flickers if there is a relatively high voltage power nearby, while the discharge lamp is extinguished without the relatively high voltage power nearby. In addition, the device is capable of being an illumination source by increasing an input voltage of the boost circuit when it is not used for detecting the high voltage power.

    • A non-visible particle detection device includes an optical module capable of converting an ionizing radiation into visible light. The optical module includes has an attachment unit that is configured to removably attach the optical module to the image capturing module of a mobile device. The image capturing module generates a photon digital image based on the photons converted from the ionizing radiation. The mobile device can be implemented with a radiation dose determining module to execute a radiation dose equivalent calculation method. Based on the pixel brightness analysis of the photon digital image, the radiation equivalent dose can be determined. This method sums up the total brightness of all pixels in the images, determines whether the total brightness is smaller than the minimum effective brightness, and determines the radiation equivalent dose when the total brightness is equal to or larger than the minimum effective brightness.

    • A device for driving a light-emitting element via three transistors includes a driving circuit, a negative voltage circuit, and a protection circuit. The driving circuit has a first transistor and a second transistor for producing a first signal. The negative voltage circuit electrically connected to the driving circuit for transforming the first signal into a second signal to be transmitted to the light-emitting element, and the light-emitting element is driven in response to an operating voltage resulted from the voltage of the second signal and a power voltage. The protection circuit includes a third transistor having two terminals connected to the light-emitting element and the third terminal connected to a base of an NPN transistor for controlling the operating voltage so as to stabilize an output of the light-emitting element.
