摘要： A method for transmitting common control information from a base station to a plurality of subscriber stations in a wireless communication. The common control information includes first information transmitted in common to all of the subscriber stations and second information separately transmitted to the subscriber stations according to channel states of the subscriber stations. The first information is transmitted using an MCS (Modulation and Coding Scheme) level having a modulation scheme with a lowest order and a coding scheme with a lowest coding rate among all MCS levels available in the base station. The second information is transmitted using MCS levels that are adjusted by a predetermined level against MCS levels corresponding to channel states of the subscriber stations.

The apparatus determines a predetermined number of groups for grouping at least one subscriber terminal according to type information of a paging interval equal to the sum of the sleep interval and the listening interval, and registers the subscriber terminal in one group from among the groups on the basis of the paging interval type of the subscriber terminal. 摘要： A Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) reduction apparatus and method in an OFDM communication system are provided. In the PAPR reduction method, magnitude and phase components are extracted from transmission sample data. Peaks having magnitude components exceeding a threshold are detected by comparing the extracted magnitude components with the threshold. The highest of the peaks is detected and compared with the threshold. If the highest peak is greater than the threshold, the highest peak is updated.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for controlling downlink power transmitted from a base station to subscriber stations in a mobile communication system employing an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) scheme, in which data is carried from the base station to the subscriber stations by subchannels to each of which a plurality of subcarriers are assigned. The method includes the steps of receiving from the subscriber stations channel condition information of each of the subchannels together with information related to a subcarrier having a channel condition below a threshold from among at least one subcarrier included in each of the subchannels; calculating transmission power for each of the subchannels based on the received information; and transmitting each of the subchannels with the calculated transmission power, excluding the subcarrier having a channel condition below the threshold.
