摘要： A novel fluorine-containing polymeric compound represented by the general formula--CH.sub.2 --CH[(CH.sub.2).sub.a --NH.sub.2 ]}.sub.m-n--CH.sub.2 --CH[(CH.sub.2).sub.a --NH--CO--NH--CH.sub.2).sub.a Rf]}.sub.n,in which Rf is a perfluoroalkyl group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms, m is a positive integer in the range from 10 to 1500, n is a positive integer smaller than 0.7 m and a is 0 or 1, is prepared by the reaction of, when a is 0, a polyvinylamine of the formula --CH.sub.2 --CHNH.sub.2 ].sub.m, with an alkyl perfluoroalkanoate of the formula Rf--CO--OR, in which R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, or, when a is 1, a polyallylamine of the formula --CH.sub.2 --CH(CH.sub.2 --NH.sub.2)].sub.m, with a perfluoroalkylmethyl isocyanate of the formula RfCH.sub.2 --NCO. Despite the high fluorine content, the polymer is soluble in at least one kind of organic solvents so that Langmuir-Blodgett's films can be prepared from a solution of the polymer. The LB films have an extremely low surface energy and useful as a material for protection and modification of various surfaces.

摘要： When a poly(allyl amine) is reacted with a perfluoroalkanoic acid ester of the formula R.sub.f --CO--OR, in which R.sub.f is a perfluoroalkyl group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms and R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, e.g., ethyl perfluorooctanoate, the amino groups in the poly(allyl amine) are almost quantitatively amidated to introduce the perfluoroalkyl groups into the polymer as bonded through amide linkages. When the degree of amidation of the amino groups is 40% or smaller, the fluorine-containing polymeric compound is soluble in organic solvent to give a solution, from which Langmuir-Blodgett's films, i.e. monomolecular and built-up film, can be readily prepared.

摘要： The present invention provides a novel fluorination catalyst that has high stability at high temperatures, is easily regenerated and is superior in catalytic activity and selectivity and a method for the preparation of the fluorination catalyst. The present invention also provides a method for the preparation of a novel fluorinated compound, and particularly, 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (HFC-245fa), by using the catalyst. The fluorination catalyst of the present invention is obtained by treating a metal salt containing a chromium salt such as chromium oxide with chlorine gas and/or oxygen gas. Examples of the metal salt may include, besides a chromium salt, one or more catalytically active metal salts selected from magnesium salts, aluminum salts, zinc salts, sodium salts, nickel salts, iron salts, cobalt salts, vanadium salts, manganese salts and copper salts.

摘要： It is an object to provide a cleaning method in a CVD apparatus capable of efficiently removing a by-product such as SiO2 or Si3N4 which is adhered to and deposited on the surfaces of an inner wall, an electrode and the like in a reaction chamber at a film forming step. Furthermore, it is an object to provide a cleaning method in which the amount of a cleaning gas to be discharged is very small, an influence on an environment such as global warming is also lessened and a cost can also be reduced. An energy is applied to a fluorine compound to react the fluorine compound, thereby generating a fluorine gas component and a component other than the fluorine gas component. Furthermore, the fluorine gas component and the component other than the fluorine gas component which are generated are separated from each other so that the fluorine gas component is separated and refined. After a film forming process for a base material is carried out by a CVD apparatus, a separated and refined fluorine gas is then converted to a plasma to remove a by-product adhered into the reaction chamber.

摘要： A vic-dichloro-fluorinated alkene of the formula: R.sup.1 --CCl.dbd.CCl--R.sup.2, and a fluorinated alkane of the formula: R.sup.1 --CR.sup.3 R.sup.4 --CR.sup.5 R.sup.6 --R.sup.2, wherein each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently represents a perfluoroalkyl group or both of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 form together a perfluoroalkylene group, and R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 independently represent hydrogen or fluorine, are produced from an inexpensive raw material. More specifically, hexachlorocyclopentadiene is reacted with gaseous chlorine using an antimony catalyst, and then the reaction product is reacted with hydrogen fluoride to give 1,2-dichlorohexafluorocyclopentene. Thus-obtained compound is either (i) hydrogenated, or (ii) treated with a fluorinating agent to substitute the chlorine atoms by fluorine atoms, and then hydrogenated, to give the intended fluorinated alkane.
