    • An audio system includes a circuit (12) for processing an audio signal, which circuit (12) having an input (20) for receiving the audio signal and an output (26) for supplying an output signal. The circuit (12) further includes a harmonics generator (22) coupled to the input (20) for generating harmonics of the audio signal and an adding circuit (24) coupled to the input (20) as well as to the harmonics generator (22) for supplying a sum of the audio signal and the generated harmonics to the output (26). The harmonics generator (22) includes an integrator (34) for integrating the audio signal and, coupled thereto, a resetting circuit (36) for resetting the integrator (34) at resetting times.

    • An enclosure (1) for an acoustic transducer (2) comprises a first chamber (11) for accommodating the acoustic transducer (2) and a spaced apart second chamber (12), which first and second chambers are acoustically coupled by a coupling section (15). The coupling section may have a smaller diameter than the first and the second chamber. An optional further coupling section (16) may acoustically couple the first chamber (11) to an optional third chamber (13). The volume of the enclosure is distributed over the various chambers, thus providing a relatively large enclosure, even when the first chamber (11) is small. Any non-fundamental resonances induced by the coupling sections (15, 16) lie outside the active region of the transducer (2).

The method comprises the steps of determining a set of filter parameters (Fp) of a prediction filter (201) such that the prediction filter provides an estimate (P) of the second signal component when receiving the first signal component as an input; and representing the multichannel signal as the first signal component and the set of filter parameters. Further disclosed are a corresponding arrangement for encoding a multichannel signals and a corresponding method and arrangement for decoding such a signal.

    • A panel-shaped acoustic wave generator (1A; 1B; 101) comprises one or more planar plates (2,3;102,103). In an embodiment two planar plates (2, 3; 102, 103) are arranged substantially parallel at a distance (D) from each other, while the wave generator (1A;1B;101) further includes an acoustic transducer unit (4; 110A) for causing at least one of the plates to vibrate and a motional feedback unit (10; 110B). The motional feedback unit (10; 110B) comprise an integrated motion sensor (9) which comprises a first sensor component (11; 111B) mechanically coupled to a first plate (2; 102) and a second sensor component (12; 112B) mechanically coupled to a second plate (3; 103). In a specific embodiment, the wave generator is implemented as a display device (100) wherein the feedback means comprise at least one display cell (110B) of the display device.
