摘要： An extruder has an intake barrel, a degassing drum connected to, downstream from, and coaxial with the intake barrel, and an output barrel connected to, downstream from, and coaxial with the intake barrel and degassing drum. A driven shaft extends through the drum and barrels and is rotated for forming a plastic melt and advancing the melt through the intake barrel, degassing drum, and output barrel. A plurality of degassing screws surround the driven shaft in the degassing drum. A screw guide rotationally fixed to the shaft has respective seats for the degassing screws. Respective drive gears rotationally fixed but removably mounted on the degassing screws are received in respective seats in a gear guide separate from the screw guide and rotationally fixed to the shaft. A ring gear is rotationally fixed but removably mounted in the degassing drum and meshes with the drive gears.

摘要： The invention concerns an extruder for producing molted plastic materials from plastic granules available on the market, by heating and mixing granules, with heated single- or double-screw extruders, and for carrying out polycondensation or polymerization using part of a multiple-screw extruder and by means of vacuum chambers for removing the constituents of low molecular weight and/or foaming agents or the like, for obtaining larger molecules and hence a higher viscosity, and for increasing the mechanical strength of plastic materials produced from said molten material. The invention aims at designing said extruder such that the molten material can be processed in thin layers enabling exposure of large surfaces in contact with the vacuum, and hence a molten plastic material ensuring desired levels of degassing and polymerization using simple means. Therefor, the envelopes of the stems of the screws (7) are mutually spaced apart at least in the polycondensation zone of said extruder part with multiple screws (6), relative to the extruder screw (4) or its shaft section (10) and relative to cylindrical zones enclosing them, by a distance not less than zero (>0).

摘要： A liquid ring vacuum pump for degassing molten plastic has an inlet where gases are drawn in and an outlet through which gases are blown out. A closed circulation path for the compression fluid holds a replaceable filter insert for filtering coarse contaminants out of the compression liquid, a precondensation unit upstream of the pump inlet for filtering fine contaminants out of the compression liquid, and only one continuously operating fine or ultrafine filter in the closed circulation path. The closed circulation path is closed even when the fine filter or ultrafine filter is replaced. A controller connected to the continuously operating filter directs replacement of the filter element as a function of degree of contamination, filtering time, pressure conditions, or flow velocity conditions at the filter.

摘要： An inlet plate is normally connected to an extruder and formed with an inlet port for supplying a molten synthetic resin under pressure to the port and an outlet plate is normally connected to or part of a mold and is formed with an outlet port in line with and confronting the inlet port for receiving the molten synthetic resin. A movable filter support engageable snugly between the plates at the ports thereof is formed with at least two laterally offset cavities each having an inlet side against the inlet plate and an outlet side against the outlet plate. This support element can be displaced between at least two respective positions in each of which one of the cavities is aligned between the ports for flow through the one cavity therebetween. A respective filter unit in each of the cavities has a plurality of separate cells each having an outside exposed to flow from one of the ports and an inside exposed to the other of the ports.
