    • A reflective LED lighting lamp includes a lamp housing and a light source module strip mounted to the lamp housing. A reflective layer mounted to the lamp housing. The light source module strip has an independently removable one-piece structure and includes at least one LED light source and an LED light source mounting base. The LED light source mounting base is inserted into the lamp housing by a slot. The LED light source mounting base is made of thermal conductive material. The heat generated by the LED is transmitted to the lamp housing by the LED light source mounting base, and then is dissipated by the lamp housing. The present invention adopts the one-piece light source module strip. Installation and disassembly by simple insert-pullout manner between the LED light source module strip and the lamp housing can be achieved.     • A multicarrier data transmission scheme is provided. According to the provided scheme, a radio transmitter encodes data bits with different degrees, the degree of an encoded data bit being defined by the number of parity check equations protecting the data bit. The data bits are preferably encoded with an irregular low-density parity check (LDPC) code. The encoded data bits are then mapped to symbols. The symbols are allocated to subcarriers of a multicarrier radio signal on the basis of channel state information obtained from the radio receiver and the degree used with respect to each symbol. On the basis of the channel state information, a number of subcarriers are truncated due to high attenuation, and the number of subcarriers to be truncated relative to the total number of subcarriers is substantially fixed. The available transmit power to the non-truncated subcarriers. The multicarrier signal comprising symbols on the non-truncated subcarriers is then transmitted to the radio receiver.

    • Apparatus, systems and methods to transmit power and data are provided. A particular apparatus to transmit power and data includes a transmission medium. The transmission medium includes at least one first frequency selective surface (FSS) layer, at least one second FSS layer, and a dielectric layer separating the at least one first FSS layer and the at least one second FSS layer. In a particular embodiment, the apparatus also includes a first coupler coupled to the transmission medium to send a signal along the transmission medium and a second coupler coupled to the transmission medium. The second coupler may receive signals via the transmission medium, receive power via the transmission medium to power devices coupled to the second coupler, process and send data via the transmission medium, or any combination thereof.
