    • A respiration aiding device capable of giving a little sense of incompatibility and causing no interference with respiration with no concern about coming off after a long-term use. The respiration aiding device comprises a link portion having both ends to be inserted into the right and left nares, and a pair of right and left nasal septum presser portions attached to the ends of the link portion. A dimension of the right and left nasal septum presser portions is smaller than the diameter of the nares. Magnets are mounted at opposite positions in the nasal septum presser portions so that a north pole of one magnet and a south pole of the other magnet is disposed in confronting relation to each other.

    • A car rearview mirror comprises a mirror unit having a hemispheric convex surface formed thereon and a central support formed integrally therewith on the opposite side to the hemispheric convex surface to receive a leaf or wire spring at the center of the latter, and a mirror housing having a hemispheric concave surface formed thereon and two end supports formed integrally therewith to retain the spring at the opposite ends, respectively, of the latter. The hemispheric convex surface of the mirror unit is fitted to the hemispheric convex surface of the mirror housing in such a manner that the mirror unit can be pivoted in relation to the mirror housing. To assemble the rearview mirror, the spring is bowed and supported at the center thereof on the central support and at the opposite ends thereof on the two end supports. Namely, the car rearview mirror can have a reduced number of parts.

    • In a drive unit for an electric remote control mirror, a pair of screw rods for slanting the mirror around horizontal and vertical axes is disposed movably forwardly and backwardly within the drive casing. Within the drive casing, there is disposed a pair of drive motors, of which the rotations are transmitted through a reduction gear group to a pair of rotation members, of which the rotations are converted into forward and backward movements of the pair of screw rods. Each of the rotation members is composed of a shaft having a pair of arm members with a screw thread which is in mesh with a screw thread formed on the inner circumference of the screw rod, a hollow cylindrical rotation body having a gear in mesh with the reduction gear group and a space in which the screw rod is placed, and a plurality of connection members extending radially and which provides a connection between the base of the shaft and the lower end of the rotation body, each of the connection members being formed relatively thin so that when the shaft is exposed to a force from the screw rod, the connection member is resiliently deformable. When each screw rod is moved forwardly or backwardly, the shaft is exposed to a force from the screw rod, but since the plural connection members are resiliently deformed, the shaft can be slanted axially so that each screw rod can positively follow up with the pivoting of the mirror.

    • A lamination shaping apparatus has a powder layer preparing means and an optical unit which irradiates a light beam to an intended portion of a powder layer so as to sinter or melt for solidifying the portion into a cured layer. Preparation of the powder layer and curing of the cured layer are repeated to fabricate a three-dimensional object in which a plurality of the cured layers are laminated and integrated. The apparatus includes a fixed base carrying thereon the powder layer and the cured layer, an elevator frame surrounding a periphery of the fixed base, and driving means for driving the elevator frame to move vertically. The powder layer is formed within a space above the base and surrounded by an interior surface of the elevator fame such that the powder layer (cured layer) can be stacked on the base with the base being kept at a fixed position, thereby facilitating to fabricate a precisely shaped object.
