    • A method and system are disclosed that enable a user to search a large collection of structured and unstructured documents using semantic concepts that the system provides to them, to search the most relevant business activity first, and then using one of the business activities as the additional context to search for specific document or documents that are most relevant. One aspect of the invention provides a methodology to perform concept-based structured search over document collections to obtain search results as business activities and associated relevant documents using the business activity context. The document collections are obtained by aggregating documents corresponding to a business activity. The instances are extracted from the document collections together with any concept-relationship specific heuristics in that domain. Another aspect of the invention enables the enterprise user to enter concepts and instances that define the search parameters using a structured user interface.

    • A social network of service provider and service recipient teams, which in turn is analyzed from a global perspective of the provider organization, that is, the representation and analysis and recommendations are internally driven by a service provider organization. Informal and formal relationships alike can be noted in the network representation. The nodes in the networks are team members from the provider and client organizations. The key decision makers in the client organizations are marked out in the graph. Each client node has an orientation which reflects whether the person has a positive orientation or negative orientation overall, globally and at a current point in time, towards the service provider organization. The client organization and the internal relationships can initially be assumed to be embodied by formal and functional relationships that are already well known and established, and yet can be adapted at later times.

    • A method and system for prioritizing accounts is provided. The method includes receiving operational metrics and data values associated with the operational metrics. The data values are aggregated and noisy data is removed from the operational metrics. Statistical averages associated with a performance of accounts are calculated and each account is modeled as a collection of operational performance variables and key performance indicators A ranking list is generated and a minimum number of independent operational parameters necessary are calculated. Pairwise ranks {r} of the accounts are calculated and values associated with a tolerance limit epsilon and selected.
