摘要： The invention relates to a hot-top mold for a strand casting apparatus, consisting of a hot-top, which lies on the upper side of a parting agent distributor and presses it with its underside against the surface of a mold, an overhang being formed on the radially inner surface of the hot-top, which protrudes beyond the parting agent distributor in the direction of take off of the strand, the hot-top being centered and held by an outer ring, which is releasably fastened to the mold. The mold surrounds a function ring toward the bearing surface of the mold which, together with the parting agent distributor, forms function surfaces with adjustable roughness on the surfaces. In the parting agent distributor, radial channels are formed at the upper side and the underside, the channel cross sections at the upper side and the underside being in a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5 to one another.

摘要： An automated thread processing system is characterized by reducing thread package handling and labor requirements. The system includes a textile thread processing machine station having a plurality of spindle assemblies for processing thread and forming wound packages of thread. At least one additional station is also provided. A thread package transporting mechanism includes a stationary continuous rail passing through the thread processing machine station and to and through the additional station and back to the thread processing machine station. Thread package carrying devices are movably mounted on the rail and positioned for receiving the wound packages of thread doffed from the spindle assemblies of the thread processing machine station and then carrying the thread packages from the thread processing machine station to the additional station and releasing the thread packages at the additional station and then returning to the thread processing machine station. Drive mechanisms are provided for driving the thread package carrying devices along the rail.

The intermediate plate has outlet openings which terminate in an intermediate area between a hot top section and a mold section in which the molten metal solidifies. The intermediate release agent supply plate having a central cross sectional opening is provided between the hot top section and the mold section, the surface of the central opening, adjoining the surfaces of the hot top section and the mold section. The intermediate plate comprises a flat plate having release agent-supply channels that extend to the opening edge and are precision-formed into the upper and lower surfaces of the intermediate plate to a constant depth. Liquid and/or gaseous mold release agents are fed through the supply plate to lubricate the mold surface along which the ingot is formed, cooled and lowered.

摘要： A textile yarn spinning apparatus is disclosed for continuously producing a plurality of synthetic filament yarns, and wherein a plurality of winding machines are arranged in rows along a service aisle. A doffer travels along the service aisle from winding machine to winding machine, and the doffer receives at each serviced winding machine the full packages from the winding spindle and delivers the packages to a transport carriage. The transport carriage delivers the full packages to a temporary package storage area composed of high-rise creels arranged in rows, and they are later delivered from the storage area to a further processing station where they are manually inspected and packaged for shipment. The temporary package storage area permits continuous operation of the apparatus over a twenty four hour period, with the manual inspection and packaging being conducted during a normal eight hour work shift.
