    • There is disclosed a sprayer apparatus for selectively spraying or dispensing multiple fluid components. The apparatus comprises a housing having a first inlet and an first outlet, the first housing inlet being adapted for attachment to a garden hose, the first housing outlet being in fluid communication with the first housing inlet; and an insert member having a first inlet for receiving fluid and a first outlet for dispensing fluid therefrom, the first insert inlet being in fluid communication with the first insert outlet through a passage defined by the insert member, the insert member being mateable with the housing so that the first housing outlet mates with the first insert inlet so that a fluid can flow from the first housing inlet to the first insert outlet. A method of spraying a fluid is also disclosed.

    • A system and method are provided for failsafe storage and dispensing of a liquid material from a container having a storage compartment. A dispensing control unit coupled to the container includes a control valve portion operable to selectively direct a flow path of at least a portion of a pressurized fluid stream received thereby, and a response valve portion coupled to the neck portion. The response valve portion is reconfigurable between first and second states responsive to the pressurized fluid stream as directed thereto. The response valve portion in the first state seals an access opening of the container from the storage compartment, while in the second state maintains the access opening in communication with the storage compartment. The response valve portion is resiliently biased to its first state, whereby release of the liquid material therethrough is prevented in the absence of suitable fluid pressure actuation therefor. The response valve portion in certain embodiments includes a displaceable piston assembly, and in certain other embodiments a deflectable member, for selective reconfiguration between the first and second states responsive to the pressurized fluid stream.

    • A system and method are provided for selectively dosing and dispensing a predetermined liquid material in and from a pre-dispensing measuring sight glass container vessel, wherein a housing is disposed to receive a pressurized fluid stream, to provide an intermediate measurement and storage vessel for the liquid material and to provide a selectively operable valve assembly that is disposed in a flow path defined in the housing. The housing includes an inlet, an outlet, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween, which is formed with an admission port for admitting the predetermined liquid material. The valve assembly is disposed between the housing's inlet and outlet, and may be selectively operated to fill the sight glass container from the source container; or, to dispense the liquid material from the sight glass container; or, to clean the sight glass container; or, to just provide a flow of the pressurized fluid without any liquid material. At no selection or operating condition can liquid material from the source container be dispensed without first being measured into the sight glass container.
