摘要： The subject of the present invention is a process for the preparation of new high-molecular weight polyester-polycarbonates which contain incorporated segments containing carboxyl groups and can be processed by thermoplastic methods, which process is characterized in that segments which contain carboxyl groups and have average molecular weights Mn (number-average of the molecular weight determined via the acid number of the segments containing carboxyl groups) of greater than about 600, preferably of greater than about 800 and in particular of between about 1,000 and 20,000, are reacted with diphenols and phosgene by the known two-phase boundary polycondensation process at a pH value of between about 9 and 14 and at a temperature of between about 0.degree. C. and 80.degree. C. and preferably of between about 15.degree. C. and 40.degree. C. and the resulting reaction products are either subjected to a heat treatment at temperatures of between about 40.degree. C. and 170.degree. C. for between about 5 minutes to 24 hours or are subjected, at temperatures of between about 130.degree. C., and 250.degree. C., to shear forces of between about 720 and 2520 kJ/kg of polymer or are gelled in solution by organic solvents. The invention also relates to the polyester-polycarbonates which are obtainable according to the invention and contain at least 2 phases, resulting from the polycarbonate constituent and the segment fraction which has terminal carboxyl groups.

摘要： Ketones are prepared by reacting an aromatic or heterocyclic aldehyde in the presence of a cyanide ion with an unsaturated compound having the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are the same or different and are selected from the group of hydrogen, optionally substituted aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic, aromatic, heterocyclic and carboxylic acid ester andR.sup.4 is nitrile (CN), --CO--R.sup.5 or --CO--OR.sup.5whereinR.sup.5 is selected from the group of optionally substituted aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic, aromatic and heterocyclic andR.sup.1 and R.sup.2 and/or R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 and/or R.sup.2 and R.sup.5 or R.sup.3 and R.sup.5 together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached as substituents may also form a carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring.Ketones prepared according to the process of the invention have the formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 .sup.' and R.sup.3 .sup.' are identical or different and are selected from the group of hydrogen, lower alkyl having up to 3 C-atoms and optionally substituted phenyl; andR.sup.6 .sup.' is optionally substituted phenyl or a pyridyl.

摘要： High-molecular weight polycarbonate elastomers are produced by reacting polymer segments having an average molecular weight (Mn) of more than 600 and carboxyl groups with diphenols and phosgene according to the two-phase boundary polycondensation process at a pH value between about 9 and about 14 and a temperature between about 0.degree. C. and 80.degree. C. and, thereafter, either heat-treating the resulting reaction products at temperatures between about 40.degree. C. and about 100.degree. C. or gelling the resulting reaction products in solution in organic solvents.

C., in vacuo below about 35 mm Hg, preferably between about 25 and 1 mm Hg, in the presence of catalysts, less than one mol of carbonic acid bis-aryl ester being employed per OH group of the polyester-diol and the hydroxyaryl compounds formed being distilled off.The invention further relates to the bis-carbonic acid aryl esters of polyester-diols lengthened via --OCOO-- groups obtained according to the instant invention and their use for the preparation of polyester diol bis-diphenol carbonates, lengthened via carbonate groups, characterized in that polyester-diol bis-aryl carbonates are reacted with a diphenol at a temperature of from about 100.degree. to about 200.degree. C. in vacuo below about 35 mm Hg in the presence of a catalyst, wherein more than 1 mol of diphenol is employed per mol of carbonic acid aryl ester groups of the polyester-diol bis-aryl carbonate, lengthened via carbonate groups, and the resulting hydroxyaryl compound is distilled off.The invention finally relates to the polyester-diol bis-diphenol carbonates, lengthened via carbonate groups obtained according to the instant invention and their use for the preparation of polyester/polycarbonates and the polycarbonate/polyesters so prepared.

摘要： This disclosure is concerned with a single step process for the production of diphenol terminated polycarbonates by the transesterification of diphenols, bis-aryl carbonates and polymeric diols with aliphatically bound terminal hydroxyl groups. These diols are selected from polyesters, polyethers, polythioethers and polyacetals. The transesterification is carried out at elevated temperatures under vacuum optionally in the presence of a catalyst with the ratios of the reactants being such as to avoid the retention of any terminal aliphatic hydroxyl groups or aryl carbonate groups.
