    • A liquid-jetting apparatus includes: a liquid-jetting head which has a liquid-jetting surface provided with first and second nozzles and which jets liquids of different types from the first and second nozzles respectively; a cap which is driven between a capping position and a retracted position; a cap driving member which moves in a first direction to drive the cap; first and second gas discharge valves via which bubble is discharged from first and second liquid supply members connected to the liquid-jetting head respectively; first and second valve opening/closing members which open/close the first and second gas discharge valves respectively; first and second gas discharge driving members arranged in the first direction, which move in a second direction intersecting the first direction to drive the first and second valve opening/closing members respectively; and a driving source which moves the first and second gas discharge driving members in the second direction.

    • A source line driver includes a first transistor, which has one end connected to one end of a second transistor. The first transistor has the other end connected to power supply. A third transistor has one end connected to the other end of the second transistor. The third transistor has the other end grounded. The second transistor has a control terminal connected to an output terminal of an opamp. The opamp has one input terminal supplied with a reference potential and the other input terminal connected to a node between the first transistor and the second transistor. The node is connected to a source line.

    • An ink jet printer includes a carriage movable on a body frame, including at least one printing head; an ink tank that stores the ink; and an ink path that supplies the ink from the ink tank to the printing head. The carriage has a bubble collecting chamber that collects bubbles produced in the ink path, a discharge path which is communicated with the bubble collecting chamber, and an opening and closing valve which is arranged in the discharge path and is normally closed. The body frame has a member for opening and closing the opening and closing valve, a discharge cap which can be brought into tight contact with the carriage to close an outlet of the discharge path so that an airtight space communicated with the outlet is defined between the discharge cap and the carriage, and a suction member that sucks air from the airtight space.

    • An image recording apparatus includes a recording head and a capping unit which seals a nozzle forming face of the recording head and sucks the ink from the nozzles. The capping unit includes a cap member having a plurality of housing recesses partitioned from each other for ink suction from a corresponding one of a plurality of groups of the nozzles, and cap chips housed in the respective housing recesses. The cap member includes discharge ports discharging the ink sucked into the respective housing recesses, a peripheral rib positioned at an outer peripheral portion enclosing all of the housing recesses, and a partitioning rib defining the housing recesses, two end portions of the partitioning rib being connected to the peripheral rib. The cap chips include regulating portions which abut against side faces of the partitioning rib to suppress deformation of the partitioning rib in a direction crossing the side faces.

    • There is provided a liquid jetting apparatus including: a liquid jetting head which has a liquid jetting surface on which a plurality of nozzles are open to jet the liquid; a wiper which moves, relative to the liquid jetting surface, in a wiping direction along the liquid jetting surface, while being brought in contact with the liquid jetting surface, to wipe the liquid adhered on the liquid jetting surface; a wiper moving mechanism which moves the wiper in a direction orthogonal to the liquid jetting surface to approach to or separate from the ink jetting surface; a stopper which makes contact with the wiper which is separated from the ink jetting surface; and an impact-absorbing member which is formed in the wiper or the stopper and absorbs impact generated in a case that the wiper collides with the stopper.
