    • There is provided an image processing apparatus that generates print data for printing by an inkjet printing apparatus, based on a rendering command group that includes a rendering command for a vector image, comprising: a determination unit which determines, for each rendering command included in the rendering command group, whether ink having a predetermined property is to be used; a rendering unit which renders in a first memory a raster image corresponding to a rendering command for ink having the predetermined property is to be used, and renders in a second memory a raster image corresponding to a rendering command for ink having the predetermined property is not to be used; a lossy compression unit which lossily compresses the raster image in the first memory; and a generation unit which generates print data that includes the raster image in the first memory and the raster image in the second memory.

    • A heating apparatus for a semiconductor producing system is provided, including a heater having a mounting face, an opposed back face, a first resistance heating element, a second resistance heating element provided along substantially the same plane as the first heating element, a first terminal connected with the first heating element and a second terminal connected with the second heating element. A supporting member is fixed to the back face of the heater. First and second power supply means are respectively connected with the first and second terminals and contained in an inner space of the supporting member. A conductive connector connects the first heating element and the first terminal but not the second heating element. The first heating element is provided in a first zone, the second heating element is provided in a second zone, and the conductive connector is provided in the plane and the second zone.

    • An ultrasonic flaw detecting method able to detect defects of structural balls arranged in an ultrasonic transmitting medium with the aid of reflecting ultrasonic echoes transmitted from an ultrasonic flaw detecting probe immersed in the ultrasonic transmitting medium. The ball to be tested is arranged on two sets of ball driving rollers and the driving rollers are driven to rotate the ball during the test. An ultrasonic flaw detecting apparatus comprises ball driving rollers each including a shaft portion and a ball driving portion having a circular shape in a section perpendicular to the shaft portion to rotate the ball arranged on the ball driving rollers when the ball driving rollers are rotated, and an ultrasonic flaw detecting probe adapted to rotate about the ball for transmitting ultrasonic waves to the ball to scan defects of the ball.
