    • A light pipe is configured to provide a wide effective angle of illumination while simultaneously providing a substantially uniform distribution of light along a length of the light pipe. One or more reflective surfaces not aligned with an inner surface are disposed such that when at least one reflective surface is illuminated, light is emitted from the light pipe at one or more specified angles of light emission. A plurality of reflection points are formed on the inner surface to cause the specified angles when at least one of the reflective surfaces is illuminated. A light pipe is also provided having one or more exterior protrusions configured to function as a secondary light source. A second portion of an outer surface of the light pipe has a radius of curvature which differs from the radius of curvature of the first portion of the outer surface.

    • A light pipe may be used to illuminate an elongated area. Light may emanate laterally relative to the axis of the light pipe, and the light intensity is substantially uniform along the length of the light pipe. The light pipe may include a translucent member and a opaque reflective member that is separated from the translucent member by an air gap. A band of reflective material may be located on an exterior surface of the translucent member. The entire light pipe may be formed by co-extrusion of the translucent member, the band of reflective material and the opaque section through a single co-extrusion die. Light emitted laterally from the translucent member toward the arcuate opaque reflective member and band of reflective material may be reflected laterally through the translucent member transverse to the axis of the light pipe, so that all light extends through the front surface of the translucent member.

    • An electrical connector for electrically connecting two conductors. More particularly, the conductor includes a C-shaped body member having parallel, inwardly facing channels for receiving conductors therein and a pair of toggle blocks pivotally joined together and each having outwardly facing channels along one side. The toggle blocks, having a combined width greater than the space between conductors positioned in the channels in the C-shaped body member, compress the conductors therein when forced into the body member.
