    • A wireless remote control system includes a wireless receiver having a normal operating mode in which the wireless receiver may be actuated by a wireless transmitter programmed to the wireless receiver and a programming mode in which the receiver is placed to learn a new wireless transmitter and programming information for the new transmitter is sent to the wireless receiver. Programming a wireless transmitter to the wireless receiver includes actuating the receiver with an existing transmitter already programmed to the receiver, and repeating the actuation of the receiver in a predetermined sequence. In response to the receiver receiving the predetermined sequence of actuations, the receiver enters the programming mode. Programming information for the new transmitter is sent to the receiver, and the receiver programs the new transmitter to the receiver.

    • An automotive tire pressure monitoring assembly 10 for installation in a vehicle 12 is provided. The automotive tire pressure monitoring assembly 10 includes at least one tire pressure sensor 34 generating a signal based on the pressure of air within a tire 14. The at least one tire pressure sensor 34 further includes a sensor receiver 68 in communication with a sensor control logic 38. The sensor control logic 38 is adapted to receive spectral noise 20 from at least one noise generating assembly 18. The automotive tire pressure monitoring assembly 10 further includes a controller assembly 52 positioned within the vehicle 12 and in remote communication with the at least one tire pressure sensor 34. The automotive tire pressure monitoring assembly 10 includes a positioning logic adapted to determine the position of the at least one tire pressure sensor 34 based on the strength of the spectral noise 20.

    • An automotive fob system may include an automotive fob and a fob charging receptacle. The automotive fob may have a loop feature, and include a power storage unit and a first inductive coil electrically connected with the power storage unit. The first coil may form a loop and be disposed in the loop feature. The fob charging receptacle may include a magnetic core configured to be inserted into the loop feature, and a second inductive coil wrapped around the core. The second inductive coil may be adapted to receive electrical current from a remote power source if electrically connected with the remote power source.
