摘要： Provided are a data server, which is added to a digital broadcast emitting system to emit data broadcasting based on the Programming Metadata Communication Protocol (PMCP), a conventional international specification defined to secure inter-operability between devices of a digital broadcast emitting system; a metadata structure for securing inter-operability between devices of the conventional digital broadcast emitting system; a data stream generating device using the metadata structure; and a digital data broadcast emitting system and method thereof. The PMCP extended metadata of the present invention are formed to include channel type metadata which provide system information of a data event constituting a data broadcast program; and Program and System Information Protocol (PSIP) data event metadata which provide identification information, program guide, and encapsulation information of a data event.

摘要： Provided is a system and method for providing a personalized data broadcasting service, a user terminal and method for using a personalized data broadcasting service, and a data broadcasting application structure therefor, to provide a desired broadcasting service to a viewer anytime and anywhere by using diverse terminals. The user terminal includes: a data broadcasting middleware for receiving unidirectional data broadcasting contents transmitted through a broadcasting network; a personalized broadcasting middleware for receiving bidirectional data broadcasting contents transmitted through a communication network; and a contents storing means for storing the unidirectional data broadcasting contents and the bidirectional data broadcasting contents, wherein the data broadcasting middleware executes the unidirectional data broadcasting contents and bidirectional data broadcasting contents. The present invention provides a fast and stable data broadcasting service through a communication-broadcasting integration personalized data broadcasting service. Also, it provides diverse data broadcasting services to each user through a targeting personalized data broadcasting service.

摘要： The present invention relates to component identification method using an instance metadata identifier with a contents reference identifier (CRID) and a targeting method using the same. The present invention is a method for identifying components having identical contents and different bit expressions by assigning an identical CRID to each of the components, assigning different instance metadata identifiers to each of the components and using the instance metadata identifiers with the CRID. Also, the present invention is a method for, identifying components having identical contents, identical bit expressions and different locations by assigning different instance metadata identifiers to each of the components and listing the instance metadata identifiers 1, in a package metadata having corresponding condition of an intended targeting. Accordingly, the present invention provides effective targeting by automatically matching characteristics described in a package to a usage environment.
